Discussion: Graham: 'I'll Be Glad' To Pass Legislation Shielding Mueller

  1. Because it will never come to a vote
  2. Because it will not pass anyway
  3. Because when it dose come up it will be very apparent that Trump is on his way out.

You probably will soon enough. Seems a lot of TPM’ers are just s blind as FOX addicts. Can;'t see something if it doesn’t fit their likes. It’s pretty plain that Graham can’t stand Trump. Trump’s everything a Southerner can’t stand in a Northerner. His a cocky Tri State accented grease ball. That only flies in the Tri State area and fades more as you go South. By the time you get to SC…it’s just too fucking much to bear. Just watch him and listen to him. He is politely very critical of Trump and rarly expresses support for him. When this thing hits the fan I suspect Sen. Graham will be one of the heroes that crosses the line and helps seal Trumps fate.

It must be Sunday and he’s on the talk show circuit.

Graham showing that his survival instincts are second to none. He’d turn on Trump in a second if he believed his position was threatened, but not a moment before

We should all donate to Chef Andres charity World Central Kitchen. Ivanka needs to be shamed into a public apology. She won’t of course because the Trumps never apologize especially when uncomfortable.

Sounds like Graham has given up trying to get a position in the Trump Administration.

Last time I checked. I swear I learned back in my grade-school days that people do this—they say a thing on Sunday and then say something wildly contradictory on Thursday assuming you can’t remember as far back as Sunday. I thought it was insulting when I was 10 and still do.

Because firing special prosecutor Archibald Cox was a precipitating factor in Nixon’s downfalll. So it’s generally believed (by Republicans) that Trump wouldn’t be so stupid as to do that.

That said, I have no idea why Graham would think a GOP-controlled Congress would take any action against Trump under any circumstance. Trump could probably fuck a porn star in Times Square while randomly shooting passers-by, and all his base would say is, “B-b-but, her emails!”

How about wall funding legislation ?
a 20 ft high wall 12 ft in diameter wrapped around trump with no doors shielding the world from that idiot we hear about 24/7 anymore…
Wish Mueller would get to the point where a new day cometh to free us from this nightmare forced upon us for far too long already. lol

Lindsay should talk to Mitch Chelonii and Lyin’ Paul Ryan first.

“I’ve got legislation protecting Mr. Mueller, and I’ll be glad to pass it tomorrow."

Great. How?

I live in a deep South state, and have followed Graham’s career closely. It’s not that he has never made moderate sounding statements, but the problem is that he never puts his money where his mouth is, and vote against Trump or decisively break with him. I suspect the same will happen with Mueller, regardless of the outcome of the investigation. His frequent flirtations with Trump makes what he says contra Trump unreliable and so much palaver. Look, I recognize that given how reactionary the Republican Party has become, this neo-conservative hawk now looks like a “moderate.” But even if he strays, he always seems to come back to tow the party line. I think his anger over the immigration bill amounted to so much sound and fury signifying nothing. If Graham leads a heroic bi-partisan fight against a potential Mueller firing, or Trump’s fascist immigration bill, I would be happy to be proven wrong, but I don’t think I will be.

That’s the problem. Graham does actually say some reasonable things once in a while.
Then he votes the party line, as if he nevah said those dastardly comments.

This question is still new.

Sen. Lindsey Graham’s reputation as an honorable conservative lies like a ripped-up banana peel at the bottom of the baboon cage. What happened? What turned the principled voice from South Carolina, respected by Republicans and Democrats alike, into one of Donald Trump’s dancing monkeys?

This dude TALKS TOO MUCH, and I only trust what he DOES. So what did he do? He, joining another GOP slime GrASShopper, sent out a letter to recommend Steele be charged.

I won’t trust him until and unless he follows through to protect Mueller.

Oh, Miss Lindsey, are you flirting with me?

This is a two-faced sleaze, totally untrustworthy.

Yes, I know when I am dealing with someone I truly “can’t stand”, I always give him a hummer like a $2500-an-hour call girl.
