Discussion: Graham: Campaign Finance Violations Have Never Been Used For Impeachment!

Pretty sure Clinton’s actual charges were ‘obstruction of justice’ and ‘perjury’ (lying under oath)

You’re good with those two, right Lindsey?

And there were so many prior impeachments for lying about a blow job when Graham became the leader of the GOP members of the Congress that impeached Clinton.

Well Linsey, bugging DNC headquarters in the Watergate building had never been used in an impeachment either. The Constitution does not specify which crimes can and can’t rise to impeachment.

but an omission in a civil suit regarding a private matter, well yeah, impeach away

farging icehole

how many impeachment proceedings have there been so that campaign finance would be the main issue?

has a president ever so exorbitantly violated campaign finance laws in the history of the country so that he could be considered for impeachment?

do repubes even think a REPUBLICAN president is bound by law anymore?

does anybody else miss the days when repubes were merely just war criminals?

so it goes

Those were process crimes - not at all impeachable…when you’re a Republican.

Is this the same man who led the charge to impeach a President for lying about getting a blow job?

Graham you are not fully explaining the full aspect of why impeachment is under consideration.

It is because Trump made these hush payments to Karen and Stormy to hide from voters his low down dirty affairs he had with these women in over a decade ago.

Trump intentionally ordered these hush payments to prevent the ladies from publicly speaking about their sexual affairs with Trump for fear it would ruin Trump’s fake political career.

No idea. I’ve led a fairly sedate life so I never really had occasion to think about it, I assure you. :confounded:

Nixon had a slush fund from campaign funds, and you trying to BS about this, well, it’s BS and a lie… and you should be called out for this lie… he got pardoned before he could be indicted…

“Campaign finance violations have never been used to impeach anybody,”

Umm, though he wasn’t impeached, Jesse Jackson jr. would disagree with that statement.

Yup. As I pointed out to my FB peeps,

Two years of Republican obstruction into wrong doing built up a lot of pressure so now it’s popping and while it may feel like this is it, reminder that things are just now getting started. :joy:

So pace yourself. Consume schadenfreude in modest quantities to avoid overdose.

Aw, WTF. Go for it. :joy:

Necrophilia hasn’t been used for impeachment either. So if Putin drops a tape that looks like the scene with Senator Pat Geary in The Godfather II, that’s no biggie either, right?

Don’t impeach Trump. Investigate him and his administration so intensely for the next 2 years so that he’ll be begging to be impeached.

Just like with Nixon, the campaign finance violations are inextricably intertwined with obstruction of justice.

[Insulting description of Graham using the phrase “inextricably intertwined” deleted.]
