Love that picture of Gowdy. Worry of a captioning contest on a monthly basis.

They’re punking you, Gowdy. Take it, and know it’s permanent, or man up. Time to pick a team and play.

“We are in the process of scheduling a meeting between Chairman Gowdy and the White House to discuss next steps.”

Weak as water.

It appears Chairman Gowdy has been taking lessons on being upset from certain Republican Senators who are so often “exasperated” into inaction…

Just part of a story-line to make it seem like Congress is holding WH accountable. They probably came up with a list of stuff over a few beers in Ryan’s office.

Think that ‘blasts’ in the headline is overstating it.

Hey Gowdy are you a man or a mouse?

His concern is so great it has Susan Collins shaking in her orthopedic pumps!

Adam Schiff and Ted Lieu are going to punk this fucker’s ass forever.

There’s some chance that at any given moment Gowdy’s natural harassment instincts overwhelm him, and he goes full rat terrier on the administration.

In the meantime he must be privately wearing out a bunch of chew toys.

strictly speaking? A traitorous treasonweasel, though rat or mouse will do in a pinch.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if one of Trump’s biggest defenders and creators of interference ends up embattled with Trump over this, for this administration, minor issue. Gowdy has the ability to make a lot of problems for Trump, especially considering he’s ending his Congressional career with this term when it ends in 2018. I don’t expect him to suddenly support the Democratic agenda but I could see him becoming the scorned politician who seeks revenge if his ego gets bruised enough.

By several orders of magnitude. “Scurrilous” or “despicable” would be a blast. “Inadequate” is a mild quibble.

You mean he might pull a Lieberman?

Rat terrier…haaaaahaha! Winner!

That’s a great image, remembering that rat terrier’s grab their prey by the throat and shake them until their necks snap and they die.

That I can get behind.

G’damn cowards, all of them! Responses like Gowdy’s are why trump continues to get away with his behavior. I just don’t understand what the cowardly congressional critters are so afraid of. The cult that follows trump is only about 30% of the population. If cowardly congressional critters would stand up to trump and what he is doing to the presidency, the constitution, and our country, they would probably have a great turnout from republicans who don’t support trump.

It’s no longer party over country, because if the cowardly congressional critters wanted their party to continue in power, they would show some backbone and stand up to trump. I’m not a republican (thank goodness), but I would bet that there are some (hopefully, many) republicans out there who are absolutely appalled at what trump is doing to their party. He has set it on its head, and turned republicanism into “trumpism”, which means anything goes, as long as it is done by a republican president. The current occupant of the oval office has shown that republicans have no shame, no sense of right and wrong, nor any sense of pride in our country. If they had any pride in our country, they would be doing everything they could to fight this man, would be helping Mueller in any way they could, and would be starting impeachment proceedings tomorrow.

Democratic voters need to get everyone of these cowards out of office. These midterms are probably the most important midterms of my life, and I’m almost 70 years old. Get out and VOTE, Dems!

Can someone with profound psychological insight please explain to me why everytime I see Howdy Gowdy,

I have this irresistible urge to play “Whack-A-Mole”?
