Yeah, right. The biggest embarrassment in the Florida election system is the ridiculously long lines outside polling places in minority districts. But I doubt that Scott has any interest in doing something about that.

I only assumed that “Walker” was in reference to a spokesperson for The League of Women Voters.
Rick Scott pretending he wants “100% participation” is even more misleading than the typo.

Now hold on a second here. Let’s split a few hairs.
-Does this ruling mean that those purged from the voting rolls will be automatically restored?
-Does this ruling mean that those unjustly disenfranchised for any intervening election(s) since being unjustly purged will be given the chance to cast ballots which will then be legally counted among the certified returns for those elections?
-Does this ruling enjoin the State of Florida from reconstituting these purge programs under a different name, or a different State Regulation or continuing them under another state agency?
Somehow, from what I read here, this victory doesn’t sound so very huge to me.
But then, I’m just a fool who would like to savor a side dish of democracy dipping sauce along with a main course of raw oligarchy.
