Discussion: Gov. Brownback's NCAA Shirt Gets Booed By Kansas & Wichita State Fans

On his trip to Ireland, Kennedy was asked whether, in light of his honorary degrees, he would be rooting for Trinity College (then known as the Protestant College, although it really wasn’t) or National (then known as the Catholic college). He replied: I’ll be cheering for Trinity, but praying for National.

Brownback was booed for being Sam Brownback, the Governor of our State who has dug a $600 million budget deficit in only four years in office. The fact that he was demonstrating split allegiances on his t-shirt had nothing to do with why the vast majority of citizens in this state wish he was a has-been right now, instead of in another 4 years. Brownback has done nothing positive for this State EVER! That’s why he was booed.

More likely they are booing him for destroying the states economy through horrendous policy decisions.

Totally agree. And I think he knew it too.[quote=“zlohcuc, post:23, topic:18304, full:true”]

True, Nathan. Brownback was boo’ed for being Brownback. The chorus was not more noticeable on the TV feed only because there weren’t more Kansans in the crowd.

Brownback = panderer

Very few people gave a monkey’s bum what Sam the Sham was wearing. They were booing his policies and his failed administration.

Well, I’ve got to say, I rather understand why he wore this shirt.

In any case, it is hardly the worst thing this guy has done to his state.

T shirt over a button down shirt and Mommy jeans?
Fashion challenge?

There are far more substantive things to get on Brownback’s case for.

Plenty of better reasons to boo this Koch sucker.

Evidence suggests there are a majority of morons in Kansas. The crowd likely over-represented educated people in the population who have an affinity with institutions of higher education.
