Heās going to vote against these things. Thatās why he was picked. Does anyone think Trump knew crap about this man? For that matter that he existed? NO. He was recommended because heād do the GOPās bidding. Heāll come up with an elegant jingo like Scaliaās āoriginalismā to justify carrying GOP water but weāll all know, just like we did with Scalia itās just a cover.

I hold no hope for anything good to come out of Gorsuch - absolutely nothing. He was very carefully selected and vetted before he was put on the list that was given to Trump. He is the embodiment of the worst of the Scalia-Alito-Thomas part of the court who looks good on camera and apparently writes well. His confirmation is a 30 year disaster for the country.

Gorsuch will vote the way his corporate sponsors tell him to - +$17 million buys a lot of influence. This guy owes people for his seat and they are going to make him deliver for them.
He lied at his confirmation hearings - what makes anyone think he isnāt as corrupt as $17 million can make someone?
We now have a very corrupt, very āpaid forā Supreme Court.
They will do as they are told - Roberts, Alito, Thomas, and now Gorsuch - all paid for.

I think weāre seeing a watershed moment for the Supreme Courtānamely that Supreme Court judges will now be subjected to enormous political criticism, as if they were no different from other politicians. Gorsuch will become as much of a target for political pressure and characterization as McConnellāwhich is as it should be. It will continue until the Roberts Court, or the GOP Court as I hope it is from now on called, is restored to something that even bears a resemblance to a properly constituted, and properly functioning, judicial body. What a fucking mess.

Hopefully Bern Bros are realizingnow why the SCOTUS is so important and why they needed to vote for Hillary even if they hated her. Hopefully Kennedy will come to rescue on this one, but I would feel much better with Garland on there instead of this POS.

Gorsuch is no friend of the right to vote, the best we can hope for is just like his hearing, heāll cowardly refuse to answer and kick any sort of right to vote enforcement or expansion back to Congress to legislate, where hopefully it would die in the do nothing GOP Congress until Dems are back in charge.
