They’re not yakking for benefit of Fox viewers. This stuff is directed at Trump. They know he watches. They know he can be driven to extreme anger and agitation, two emotions they have to stoke if there’s any hope of provoking Trump into arranging the termination of Mueller’s investigation.

I think “desperate” gets way to much play in political talk but it might be fitting here. Why dredge up an old canard and try to resuscitate it? Either you’re out of better canards or it doen’t matter which one since all your looking for is a diversion. It’s hard not to take the pundit view that this is a diversion, another word with way too much play. That Gorka ( please folks.don’t let that accent fool you…some of the dimmest people on earth have it ) is the guy spewing this is telling as well.
