Yeah. Every State signs an Interstate Child custody and support Pact, so if your guy crosses the border, you can still collect child support and enforce court orders.
They also have an international act, to help people that have moved to other countries.
There’s no sharia law involved. It’s just recognizing court orders from the child’s home jurisdiction. It’s very simple stuff.

Actually, democracy does work as designed, pretty much, in Idaho & most other states. If elected officials of a state do dumb things, it’s pretty much the fault of the people who elected them. There’s usually a choice, even if it’s between bad and awful.

This is an international treaty. Under the Constitution, International Treaties are the supreme law of the land on an equal standing with the Constitution itself. State law or not, these folks are already bound by this treaty.
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the constitution or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding.
This isn’t difficult, and it isn’t complicated. International treaties ratified by the Congress might as well be Amendments as far as the States’ compliance is concerned.

Malek assure us that “the bill’s opponents don’t represent Idaho’s GOP caucus.” We’ll soon see in this particular matter but will we, as a nation of good people disenfranchise these vainglory hypocrites and get them out of power? Isn’t it time for the good citizens of our country stand up and volunteer to get involved? Run for office or help a good person to run a quality campaign for office. Because now is the time for the citizens of our just society to select good people to represent them. Oh how the people rejoice when the righteous rule.

Utterly beyond stupid. None of the 80 countries involved in this treaty are under Sharia law. Yet because some of them recognize child support judgments from courts in nations governed by Islamic law, State Sen Sheryl Nuxoll would undermine child support for single parents and children in perhaps 99.99999% of all cases- those in which Sharia law is not remotely an issue.
