Discussion: GOPer Mia Love: Time 'To Move On' From Scalise's Hate Group Speech

Pay not attention to the white, racist, Republicant behind the curtain.

Yeah Mia, whatā€™s a little racism among co-workers.

Okay, that is a depressing article.

Someone has to iron those sheets.

Meanwhile this is another classic example of a Sunday talk show gleefully allowing the defense of blatant racism. From the moment Scaliseā€™s story came out, it was obvious that the Sunday talk shows were going to make sure they invite (all the worse) someone to defend racism and ensure the racist side gets equal time. Which is exactly what they did. And do week after week. The executive producers of the Sunday talk shows must be truly vile people.

thatā€™s it Mia - tow the line - but donā€™t kid yourself that it will earn you the respect or any admiration from your chosen party!
keep on kidding yourself it is what makes you most valuable to the party marked by intolerance and bigotry against women, blacks, Mormons (except within the sate of Utah) and those whose heritage does not stem from white, slave owning Klansman claiming Christianity as their fair and practicing none of it!

I canā€™t believe this womanā€¦ But, she is from Haiti, and probably never cared about learning the African American journey in this country. They will roast her alive and she will never know it.

Go ahead and move on MIA,your prerogativeā€¦and the rest of us will exercise our own and determine how to deal with the institutionalized racism that plagues a good portion of the GOP. It is there for all to hear without need for their special, overused dog whistle.

Sadly for you, Ms. Love, I donā€™t take orders from anyone, you included, to ignore the seething racism that has rotted your filthy, bigoted, white supremacist so-called Christian party to its core. No number of token people of color whoā€™ve sold their souls can put lipstick on that pig, and frankly, you should be ashamed of yourself for trying.

Oh look a black female congresswoman speaking up for Scalise ,how convenient.

This woman will apologize for every racist move that the GOP makes. Sheā€™s already shown herself to be
a white ass-kisser. Thatā€™s why she was elected in the first place, and thatā€™s why Ben Carson is also a darling of the FOXers. Diversity, my ass.

ā€œItā€™s NOT about race,ā€ she has said. I say, SHIT.

yes, that is a striking article ā€¦ I think it could apply to either side these days but sheā€™s prime Tea Party creation vs. actually someone truly representing (however wingnut) her area

"These groups are awful. And the last thing I want to do is give them any sort of publicity or credibility . . .

Honey, thatā€™s your new job.

Itā€™s time to move on??? Iā€™m not even a little surprisedā€¦ that his new cabbie would think so.

The question is whether the nationā€“and particularly the Republican Partyā€“have moved on from the position of the white supremacists that Steve Scalise addressed. As the New York Times reported recently, the Louisiana Republican Party has adopted much of the agenda of David Dukeā€™s followers. So much for moving on.

Are you sure Miaā€™s from Utah?
Seems more likely that she hails from the State of Denial.

ā€œā€¦we need to move on and get the work of the American people doneā€¦ā€

And which work is that exactly?

Surreptitiously swiping money from hate groups as part of a tactical political plan, or the work of forgetting that Scalise gain public office by reaching out to the dregs of society and now everybody is supposed to follow his ideas and values?

The phrase ā€œhouse ni**erā€ was coined for a reason. Why itā€™s still viable in 2015 is the mystery.

Exit Bachman, Enter Mia Loveā€¦
