Quickly quickly declare me the winner before the new board finds me guilty. As if he is going to actually be seated in the house either way.

ā€œHey, I cheated fair and square!ā€

House ain’t gonna seat you regardless.

Hey! I’m at least as legitimate a winner as Donald Trump! Oh wait…

Republicans were silent when the neighboring and Democrat-heavy 12th Congressional district remained vacant for 10 months in 2014. Former Republican Gov. Pat McCrory opted to wait until November of that year to hold the election to fill the seat

Very good point.

So the agency investigating my corruption was corrupt, therefore I should be declared innocent. Works for me.

NC is definitely on the cutting edge of something - not sure exactly what to call it.

Well he does have a right to ask…

Maybe Kobach can be a character witness for him…

I’d like the court to declare me lord, master, and suzerain over all of space time. If it please the court…

Harris’s team keeps claiming he should be seated because there isn’t ā€œpublicā€ evidence that the irregularities ā€œchanged the outcomeā€ of the election, as if that were the only basis on which the Board could order a new election.

In fact, it is sufficient under North Carolina law to show that:

ā€œIrregularities or improprieties occurred to such an extent that they taint the results of the entire election and cast doubt on its fairness.ā€

NC Gen Stat Ann § 163A-1181(a)(4) (2017). Of course, the Harris team is deliberately ignoring this part of the law.

It strikes me that this move will not endear him to the House Democrats who hold the whip hand in this scenario.

And to no one’s surprise, when the election was finally held it was won by Alma Adams, a Democrat, who was just reelected.

Textbook case of shamelessness

No shame at all. Just the person I’d want representing me in Congress, or anywhere. He probably already had some ā€˜For Sale to Highest Bidder’ brochures printed up and he’s itching to use them.

Somebody please cuff and arrest this SOB.

Have him show up to the House; as I understand it the Sargent at Arms has the power to detain.

Maybe Kobach could represent him in any forth coming investigation or trial, that worked out so well for Kobach the last time.

Sorry @asturcot NC was already Trumplandia before Trump. We need to figure out who is the NC mastermind/donor/fixer and out them.

Listen, and understand. That Republican is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or shame. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until it gets what it wants.
