These Republican politicians and base are not too bright, are they?

Especially the kind of hog feasting in DC that prompted him to run for office in the first place.

What can I say?

Republican + Tennessee = Asshole.

Shit, the little bastard is probably for Donald “the draft dodging coward” Trump too.

I’d bet dollars for donuts that Tennessee State Rep. Andy Holt is a closet pervert - whether it’s a MASSIVE stash of kiddie porn, strange sexual fetishes involving diapers, leather, and whips, prostitutes, lady’s undergarments, or the like, you don’t have to dig too far to find the skeletons in the closets of these RWNJs.

Hey, Andy, are you going to stand in front of the Holocaust Museum and sell copies of “Mein Kampf”, too? Such a guy!

Not that there is anything wrong with leather and whips if used responsibly.

Wait, did I say that out loud?

I found this at Women For Hillary 2016, the names of the 45 senators who voted against background checks in 2013, and unfortunately both sides did it.,

Yes, but how many of the Dems were from red states who only voted agin because it was not going to pass anyway. We get a decent majority in both Houses along with HRC landslide, and they will vote yes on bills like this.

I assume Andy is not a licensed gun dealer, so he should advertise the event and giveaway properly… “No Background Check Required! Crazies and Wanna-be Terrorists encouraged to come on out to the Hog Fest and show your support for HOLT!!!”

Why they vote they way do has a lot to do with their red state origins, are they up for reelection, and always the extent of gun lobby donations. As to getting to a majority in the House, there are some Democratic pols and operatives who believe it’s not beyond the realm of possibility to flip 30 seats because donald. I cited an article this a.m. from my SF newspaper examining this issue mainly because it would put back Pelosi back in charge., I was told I was dreaming.

Can a person be disqualified from holding office for being too damn stupid?

This guy should be made the poster boy for Republican support for savage gun-industry violence.

Tennessee is the Volunteer State, not the Bluegrass State. That’s Kentucky.

6000 Gun deaths so far this year 30 or so day and everyone is shocked just shocked at 50 in one spot. We have mass murder every fucking day. Orlando occurs once every 2 1/2 days and no one cares. This country has become Mad Max

Psst Andy. Even the RNC thinks it’s too soon. Notice how the NRA hasn’t commented yet?

You need to lie low, then explain, sadly, in a couple of days, why nothing can be done. Why the 2nd amendment is so absolute…and vital to our way of life, that it’s okay to sacrifice 10 or 20 or 50 lives every few weeks. I’m sure those families will understand.

Also please, please, put away the “furious” comments. I lost track at about five. It’s unseemly, unless you personally lost someone in the massacre.

There will, no doubt, be another day you can flex your NRA muscles, but for today, can you at least pretend to care?
