Discussion for article #227248
Whoopie and Rosie will beat her down sooooo bad…
Rosie Perez?
Well, I guess that about covers the demographics that the Advertisers demand then:
1 - Black
1 - Gay (nobody is sure about Whoopie)
1 - Latino
1 - “Real American” (blonde, pretty, conservative)
Wallace is a smart choice for playing the antagonist…She tends to ignore facts and make stuff up when things don’t line up for her but that side tends to be more prone to that nonsense anyway!
Seriously, Wallace? Spokes (hole?) model for the GOP sump pump (think) tanks.
This how ill die a slow death now.
So is she there to provide a viewpoint or to make sure that the others can’t veer too far from the approved talking points? Feels like they put a GOP Minder in the midsts to keep the discussions on the track that the GOP wants.
This is what they call Failing Upwards.
Compared to Hasselbeck, Wallace comes off as a Rhodes Scholar—although she’s barely coherent and given to wholesale fabrications to support her RWNJ viewpoint.
Whoopie, Rosie, and Rosie will dissect Nicolle and then serve her for lunch.
I give her six months before she decides to spend more time with her family.
As a liberal, I’m not displeased about her selection. Yes, she’s partisan and can give as good as she gets. But remember her role and her assessments when she was assigned to Sarah Palin. Nicole Wallace shows she can be pretty astute. This is not another reflexive Elizabeth Hasselback. I expect that she will raise the level of discourse on the show, not lower it.
I give her six months before she decides to spend more time with FOX.
fixed that for you
Isn’t that her family?
Good choice
I rarely agree with her politics but she seems a calm reasonable human being. Among on-air GOP talkers I’m not sure there is a better choice
I agree. I don’t think any liberal with half a brain is going to agree with her on much, and I think a lot of conservatives’ talking points lend themselves to intellectual dishonesty at least some of the time because facts aren’t friends of that particular ideology, but at least she can have a civil discussion with the other side. If the show’s producers want a conservative viewpoint represented, hers is probably better than most, for what it’s worth.
Sarah Palin would make a great guest…they could discuss movies, insanity, novels, shopping at the Coat Factory vs. Neiman’s…
Special little twist here. This has to burn for Ms. Sarah. Remember how she recently tried to volunteer to get hired for this slot? She who loathes Nicole Wallace and blames her for the 2008 loss. Sweetness with whipped cream and cherry on top!
I bet she is the same Nicole that Goren and partner have been chasing on Law and Order Criminal Intent for years.
I guess the S.E. Cupp Idea got nixed. Her guest appearance didn’t go so well with Whoopie.
You beat me to it! I might actually have to watch it now.
Don’t be too sure about that.
Does anyone really watch that show??
Never really watched, now I have a better reason not to.Why are this different channel caving to the right wing talkers?
Here in the Metropolitan area we have Amy Goodman on the radio and that’s on in the Mornings the rest of the day Zilch,Nada.Unreal.
