Sanders and Conway, to name a few.
They didnât mean it then, either, except insofar as they were talking about you-know-who and you-know-who-else.
(And even then their meaning was corrupt.)
Iâve noticed things like this, especially since the election. But I donât expect avalanches, upheavals, any kind of noticeable opposition at all. My guess is the calculation now is they canât save him, so theyâll save themselves if possible, preferably without making a big noise about it. I think whatâll happen is when he needs them theyâll just quietly not be there. Theyâll let him twist slowly in the wind. Itâs kind of a tradition.
GOP Senators Break From White House On Flynn
No ride on AF1 for those two
Youâre not talkinâ about Agnew/Mitchell/Nixon law and order, are you, chief?!
The fact that Graham is still posturing with ersatz âoppositionâ to Drumpf on Syria must confirm that Drumpf must have a boatload of compromising stuff on Graham.
'A single lie destroys a whole reputation of integrity."
~ John Miller
Something happened there. Graham was always a weasel though. He dances a couple steps in the direction of decency, and then three days later he dances back toward the treachery end of the continuum.
Iâm whipsawed by Lindseybelleâs changing positions on Trump.
Oh, they all try to avoid getting him riled up, for fear of being tweeted at until the rubble jumps. But it sure seems like theyâve decided not to go down with the ship.
Obviously McConnell isnât. I knew he was not sanguine about a government shut down. Or I should say another shut down.
He probably feels like the general of a retreating army, trying to keep morale up and prevent a rout. He doesnât want to lose any troops catering to the mad kingâs whims.
Probably so. He really does need to maintain some control since heâs coming back in his same role.
Gonna be a sweetheart of a year for him, Iâm sure. Enjoy, Mitch! And when things get stressful, just remember: You did this to yourself, you power-mad traitor.
God I hope itâs as horrible as I imagine it could be. haha
How non-horrible could it be?
Trump literally fired Flynn for telling the SAME LIE to Mike Pence (or at least thatâs what he told us publicly). So did Mike Pence trick Flynn into lying?
Letâs marvel at how the old fox (erâŚturtle) avoids scrutiny for all of his pre-2016-election actions.
Good point.
Scrutiny weâve seen so far or are aware of. Things change.
