Oh, yeah, thatā€™s been Trumpā€™s problem from day 1 - he doesntā€™ know how to express himself.

Try this - ā€œThe KKK sucks, and anyone who associates themselves with the KKK can kiss my ass!ā€ Doesnā€™t really seem that hard.

Drumpf expresses himself very well, he explicitly tells people to go to hell, heā€™ll shoot someone on a whim, he hates minorities and other non traditional groups, he hates foreign countries that wonā€™t or donā€™t do his bidding, he completely embraces the white supremacist movement. So Hatch shows himself to be a Drumpf *sshole when he defends what Drumpf said.

ā€œLook, I donā€™t want to waste a lot of time," Trump said. "Iā€™m going to get along great with Congress, OK? Paul Ryan, I donā€™t know him well, but Iā€™m sure Iā€™m going to get along great with him, and if I donā€™t? ***Heā€™s gonna have to pay a big price, OK?***ā€

Hatch has a point. Someone better versed in expressing themselves would have said "Paul Ryan can fuck off. And he better watch himself, that's a nice little family he's got there, it'd be too bad if something happened to it."

Translationā€¦we havenā€™t had time for Donald to sit down with Frank Luntz and learn the secret decoder buzzwords that help us express our bias, racism, sexism, and true economic beliefs in language that makes it all seem like exactly the opposite. How do you think weā€™ve spent the last eight years in a concerted effort to block every action by President Obama and then been able to convince voters that it is all Obamaā€™s fault?

And besides, Frank has been awfully busy appearing on CBS News as a ā€œpolitical consultantā€ (where his day job is never spelled out) and hasnā€™t had a lot of time for schooling this obvious novice.

Translation: "Trump says what most of us and practically ALL of the Republican ā€˜baseā€™ think, but heā€™s just not politically skillful or well trained enough in our political arena to mask it and whistle for those bigoted and racist dogs when we need them."

Oh no, heā€™s plenty experiencedā€¦Hatch and the like are just distressed that Drumpf doesnā€™t dogwhistle.

Not being able to express yourself means you are not qualified to be President. Thanks for clarifying.

No Jeff. No excuses for The Donald! He is only saying what you are thinking/believe but too cowardly to say - you = The Donald = KKK = GOP. FINALLY, after 8 years of the GOP crap, The Donald speaks the truth - the GOP is the party of the KKK!!!

ā€œThe Republican Party does not prey on peopleā€™s prejudices.ā€

Funnier words have rarely been spoken.

The Donald is a professional communicator. Thatā€™s the one thing he actually does well. So to say that this was an accident or inexperience is just another example of the GOP Establishment GOPsplaining the very frontal racism and xenophobia that they are about to nominate. What Hatch is saying is that Donald hasnā€™t learned to filter his responses through the GOP-Luntz dictionary of delivering coded extremist messages in a more benign way. But itā€™s his refusal to do that which is at the heart of why he has been succeeding with low info teapublicans thus far. The Republicans are completely screwed and its like quicksand ā€“ the more they move to change the inevitable result, the faster they go under. The Schadenfreude is delicious.

Oh that must be it. A lack of subtletyā€¦

Thereā€™s no end to GOP madness.

Huhā€¦I guess a mighty fortress is Orrinā€™s Godā€¦too bad.

Itā€™d be awesome to have a President who canā€™t express himself in a room with Putin or Xi. Nothing bad could possibly happen.

Politicians like Hatch, Cornyn, and McConnell hide their beliefs and real intent behind smooth talk. Masters at it. Trump speaks with rough words to describe precisely what he thinks and intends to do and in so doing identifies exactly what the less than fully honest Hatch, Cornyn, McConnell and their ilk also truly aim to accomplish. There is no difference between him and them. Trump is clearly dangerous, but transparent. He can be stopped in November with votes cast for understanding hearts, thoughtful policies and fairness along with more love and kindness in politics. Donaldā€™s one great service is his stripping the masks from so many other Republicans who are also incredibly dangerous to our nation. Now outed by him, they have no place to hide.

Oh come on Hatch ā€¦ do you ever want to be taken seriously again?

If this is ā€œinexperiencedā€ Iā€™d hate to see what he sounds like after heā€™s had a bunch more practice.

ā€œI think itā€™s up to us to make it clear that we donā€™t tolerate those types of racist organizations and I donā€™t know many people who would believe that we do, except for all my constituents, of course.ā€

Damn thatā€™s weak Senator Hatch.
