So Kirk is using the thread of logic from the rest of the GOP - a particularly loathsome unethical perspective that seems to somehow make it OK to decide what debts & obligations to honor based upon what you think of the person or party that is owed - Trump is notorious for this - don’t like the Son of a Bitch - screw em - refuse to pay … think that you agreed to too high a price - screw em - refuse to pay - let your lawyer haggle it down to 40% of the original ( the old - want to spend 5 years in court? - no? - then here take this ) … then refuse to pay the 40% & counter sue… The proverbial 1% - the GOP “captains of industry” are notorious for pulling this crap - and it is unethical - dishonorable - it is cheating - and most definitely not the All-American way to conduct business or world affairs.
