Makes you wonder what it is about THIS issue that makes loyal Republicans defy Trump.
Seriously, some analysis is needed here. Trump seems to have touched a previously un-touched nerve with his military parade idea.

But why? why this issue? worth thinking about to try to tap whatever it is that caused the Senator to speak out to get it to happen again - and again.
We have gone from:
Teddy Roosevelt: âSpeak softly and carry a big stickâ
to
Donald Trump: âShout loudly and wave your little dickâ
I wouldnât start cheering for him just yet. The headline is very misleading. Kennedy has shown he is more than willing to roll over for Trump and just about everything. If Trump pushes forward with his silly parade idea, Kennedy will roll over on that too, and be right beside the President on the day of the parade saying what a wonderful thing it is.
Can Kennedy say that to Cadet Bone Spurs face-to-face? It would be most helpful, since the DOTUS doesnât read too much and needs things explained.
I canât wait to see the balcony heâs going to build at the White House from which to enjoy the show.
How much longer before we have to call him Generalissimo?
Benito Trump will not be denied! Benito Trump will have his military parade! And donât forget the rockets! Plenty of rockets! The best rockets! You know, for the red glare! Now clap you peasant worms, Benito Trump has commanded it!

It could just be posturing on the part of Kennedy, but the logistics of assembling that many shiny new waxed tanks and troops who really have much better things to do is a consideration too.
I think it is the outright silliness, and the failure to actually contribute to established GOP initiatives.
Itâs easy to point to numbers that say âoh, so-and-so has voted with Trump ninety-x percent of the timeâ, but the truth of the matter is that legislatively Trump has been a pretty conventional Republican president.
You beat me to it RE the stopped clock being right now and then
Did you ever see Jimmy Breslinâs description of Giuliani (which goes double for Trump)?
"A small man in search of a balcony."
Mussolini had a stronger chin. Trump loses again.
Too many cheeseburgers.
Sigh.
âI donât think itâs a particularly good idea.â he told ABC News.
Not exactly a strongly-worded opinion. Heâs not âshutting downâ Trumpâs wish, heâs just meekly trying to offer up some resistance to it without risking his jowly hide.
Youâd think President Gilt Toilet would know this.
âI donât think itâs a particularly good idea. Confidence is silent. Insecurities are loud,â he told ABC News.
So very very trueâŚ
General Mattis also said the parade plans would have to go through the usual Congressional appropriations process for funding. Maybe he hopes it will die there in the factional fighting
over the $$$$.
Going to be fascinating to see if Trump realizes that phrase, which I intend to use often from now on, is a direct dig at him personally.
This may not be the case, Kennedy is the one who exposed the totally unqualified judicial pick a few months back. The man donât suffer fools.
Unfortunately for him, itâs now his turn in the barrell.
