Discussion: GOP Sen. Falls 2 Points Behind Dem Challenger In North Carolina Poll

Slippery slope for the tarheel GOP.
And Donnie Drumpf is the Vaseline…

It’s within the marging of error, but still good news.

It’s all about turnout folks. GOTV can be the difference in NC, AZ, and another number of other states …

You bet. Now if Trump wins, Obama only has to move as far as North Carolina!

Good riddance to both of them, especially McCrory!

Absolutely! McCrory is particularly disgusting and the biggest whiner imaginable. Everything is someone else’s fault. He even blamed the Clintons for the NBA pulling the All Star game out of Charlotte.

He’s behind and the news that they lied about the water quality near a Duke coal ash site hasn’t even been covered widely yet. State toxicologists say McCrory forced them to doctor the reports about the drinking water. Bad. Really bad!

That’s a key point. If Clinton supporters get complaisant, the election will turn out badly down ballot.

This is huge … bigly huge —

Cue the scrambling! I expect both to throw what’s left of their morals out the window and emphatically embrace Trump now to try and win more of the crazy vote.

He is a poor excuse for a senator, but he should be hard to beat in North Carolina. Burr is the face of Republican collapse.

I am concerned about the dixiecrats deserting the D’s if they think their good “friends” in the rethuglican party might lose.
DWS did this in Florida when she was the head of the Red to Blue committee and just last week their were a passel supposedly D politicians (Georgia Democrats Roy Barnes’ and Sam Nunn’s) in Georgia who came out in support of Johnny Isaakson even though polls show he is vulnerable and he is endorseing and supporting herr drumpf.

I guess to those politicians, like DWS, the good of the country comes in second to friendship with right wing whack jobs.

I guess in the south treason is in the water.

Republican Sen. Richard Burr fell two points behind Democratic challenger Deborah Ross in a new NBC/WSJ/Marist poll of North Carolina released Friday.

Sounds like Burr needs to scare up some more Hamiltons.

Backlash against the bad government Tea Partiers; about time too.

And in 2018 a new district map. Fingers crossed.

I don’t think it’s fair of you to steal credit from McCrory and the NC legislature for the NC GOP train wreck, and hand it over to Trump. That picture (which graced the cover of my college physics lab error analysis textbook) is the perfect picture of the NC GOP long before Trump made the scene.

Oh, please, please, please turn NC blue, FSM, praise be to your Noodly Appendages.
