Republicans are all a joke. They live in their dreams and fantasies, they have no grasp whatsoever on realities. It’s been this way ever since Nixon and certainly since Reagan.
The idea that Trump will change his tune after the last year of his racist and sexist rants, as immature as any 12 year-old son of a redneck, yeah, that kind of “change” as likely as snow in Miami. Somewhere in history, it may have snowed in Miami, but not in my lifetime, I’m damn sure.

The change will come about as soon as we discover unicorns.

Corker has said he would support the Republican nominee.

These fuckers had a chance right after Indiana to take charge as a party. Nearly all of them had to know about this man’s background and temperament.
But they thought that the Noise Machine, the messaging, the False Equivalence, and FOX would paper over this profoundly unstable, ugly and amoral man.
Sure he has to… but can he change, and does he want to? All evidence suggests that the answer is a big fat NO.
You can hear the gears spinning – “OMG what were we thinking?!”
And they all had months to say, no, Trump is a racist asshole, that’s not acceptable in a presidential candidate. Not a peep. Because all they care about is winning, and anyone with a ® behind their name will do.
So, Corker’s “not necessarily talking about [Trump] changing his views…but [thinks] he’s now moving into a different phase.”
if I read this correctly, and I think I am, Corker’s saying, oh, Donnie doesn’t have to stop being a bigot, he should just hide it until we get him elected. Then we are going to let this madman loose on an unsuspecting population.
There’s a big difference, GOP, between promising things during a campaign and not being able to deliver, but it’s a whole new level of evil to purposefully deceive the voters.
And that is what Corker is suggesting.
It disgusts me no end.

Trump change? As in, stop being a racist? Good luck with that, GOP sycophants. Not that a person can’t change, but in my experience most racists only stop being racists by dying off.

It’s not only his inability to stop being a racist. It’s also his inability to stop having NO anger management, NO mental filter, NO impulse control.
