So why did you vote for it, idiot?
He has to say it because the bill will have less than 17% rating. They will ultimately shift the blame of bill passing to Democrats and their supporters will buy it.
So youāre admitting you broke your promise to your constituents, you two-faced bastard?
Yo, MI-3? Iām guessing that any half-bright Dem with a line of populist muckraking could take down this double-chinned smarmy asshole. Yāall Michiganders kindly wanna STEP UP?
Hereās our first glimpse of the damage-control from the ācompassionate conservativesā. Letās hope they canāt come up with anything more convincing than this BS. Iāll bet Amash starts making calls trying to line up another job as soon as he gets back to DC, if not sooner.
Dirtbag.
Leadership forced Amash to vote for AHCA out of spite. I donāt feel bad for him, but watching this slap fight unfold over the coming months should be fun.
First thought out of my head

The bill you promised voters in 2010 is not what they want in 2017.
Would you try to sell someone a 2010 car today, stripped of its gearbox, seats and tires, as āa car for the future?ā
Scum.
āNot the bill we promisedā
This is crucial. Any public description of the failings of Trumpcare MUST be preceded by a description of Trumpās promise of health care for everyone thatās better and cheaper. Only then do you start talking about the defects. This should be a structural, repetitive format for the discussion: not only is Trumpcare a disaster, but it represents a selling down the river of Trump voters.
This is not the bill we promised the American people, but I voted for it anyway because you canāt let the perfect be the enemy of the good. The AHCA only strips 24 million people of their health insurance, increases the premiums for the elderly from 3:1 to 5:1, puts people with preexisting conditions into their own unaffordable pool, and severely decreases government subsidies. Itās not what we promised but weāre hoping the Senate can help the bill be all that it can be.
Shorter GOP(Yet another RIdiot): I never really care about promises. I just like to inflict pain on people, thats GOPās mantra.
maybe didnt read it?
āYou MADE me hit you, middle class voters!ā
You guys have this wrong. Amash is hardcore freedom caucus.
The promise he is breaking is a promise to erase every line of ACA legislation.
Promise made, promise broken. And thatās the good news.
What he really intends is to take away what little medical care the ACA provided working people who are in all reality entitled to respect and recognition of their contributions to the nation.
Republican TrumpCare: WealthCare for the Rich ā DeathCare for Everyone Else
and yet that 25% wonāt press charges
ā¦but they love me
ā¦it will trickle downā¦
My Grandpappy voted Republican
My Pappy voted Republican
and Ahm Votinā Republican
We showed them commie socialist bastards
If he could answer that question, heād be another line of work.
