They would prove that Trump has been receiving loans and outright gifts and bribes from the Kleptocracy that is Putin’s Russia for years. They would also prove that as sitting President he is getting money from those same sources he successfully stonewalled the US electorate from seeing. All while smearing HRC as unethical and crooked.
I guess they can’t keep the party line straight. It sounds like the memo, despite the hype by some, is going to be more of a dud if and when it comes out.
I really hope Mueller drops a few indictments hours before the State of the Shithole address, to send a message, maybe even one for Mr. Nunes for obstruction.
Schiff has been pounding the hell out of Nunes in the media and the GOP is taking note to get some safe distance. Ryan’s body language today seemed a little defensive. I’d still bet on the memo being released because Trump seems hell bent on doing so to escalate his cold war against the Mueller investigation, but I do believe there are people within Trump’s legal camp who think it will create more legal problems for him on the obstruction track because of Mueller’s express mandate. We’ll see what happens, but Schiff has already seen the memo and has written a rebuttal. He can essentially recite his rebuttal on air without requiring the document and can effectively quash the intended effect. If the MSM had a shred of integrity, they’d be focusing on Carter Page’s espionage activities and why such a guy was involved in a major political campaign. I’d like to see a whole week devoted to Page. Perhaps the IC will let fly a few tid bits of what it has learned through that surveillance.
In the interests of transparency in government and to protect the Preshitident and his wonderful family, Republicans should be allowed to buy, sell and trade national security secrets, military plans, classified information, legislative language, prosecutions and judicial decisions on Wall Street. The free market never hurt anybody.
