Discussion: GOP Rep. On Health Care Bill: 'I Want To Learn More About The Medicaid Piece'

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.

Or is it drip, drip, drip?

Either way, we’re now measuring TrumpCare in weeks, not decades.

…Republicans in the House and Senate have expressed concern about these Medicaid cuts as well, especially given that many of the 32 states (including Washington, D.C.) that chose to expand Medicaid under Obamacare are governed by Republicans and serve Republican-leaning electorates.

Welcome to the new GOM or Government of the Minority party. The Prez and Congress were elected by a minority of votes nationwide, and now they will have a SCt majority because they blocked the former prez’s rightful pick not because a majority of Americans want a right-leaning high court.

What’s that strange glow over there on the horizon? Yes, it’s truth, dawning ever so slowly over Republican heads.

The problem is, it is very hard to see the sunrise when your head is buried in the sand.

Easy

Look over here
Never mind the whole Trump Administration is in bed with the Russians
It is a distinct possibility Bannon is telling him to do this to distract from the shit with the Russians
If you didn’t watch this Maddow segment last night - get a pillow to put under your jaw when it drops
Scary shit indeed

See this is the part I don’t understand.

If there really was a wiretap in Trump Towers, then it was there pursuant to a warrant and that warrant might have something to do with Russians, so they are taking a weird chance demanding an inquiry into it.

If I were a GOP Obamacare change skeptic, I would use the word “Trumpcare” in every sentence to the media and in the House proceedings. I would encourage my colleagues to do the same—on both sides of the aisle.
Let’s all openly discuss the merits of Trumpcare.

Well, according to the WH. The answer is so obvioustm that no explanation is needed although a Congressional investigation is required.

Trumpcare: The more you know, the less you like it

The same Congressweasel Roskam who was too afraid to meet with his constituents? That one?

I’m betting in-house polling has got him freaked about all things 2018-wise…

"Miami Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen plans to vote against the House GOP plan to replace the Affordable Care Act, becoming the first Florida Republican to reject the legislation outright.

“After studying the impact of this proposed legislation on my district and speaking with many of my constituents, I have decided to vote no on the bill as currently written," she said in a statement to the Miami Herald. “The bill’s consequences for South Florida are clear: too many of my constituents will lose insurance and there will be less funds to help the poor and elderly with their healthcare.”
