For some they are Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall…….

Rep. Smith might be as stupid as Kevin McCarthy or Louie Gohmert. They seem to be neck and neck.

Though I think Ballotpedia might help, thats what the rest of the country is dealing with.

Dude! You may call those kids orphans. I call them political prisoners.

Democrat Josh Welle, on paper, sounds really good. But he doesn’t have the money that Smith has.

That may change now, since Smith opened his mouth… Maybe he can open it more?

I’m not sure why you’re not sure if Trump gives a shit about gay people. I have it on good authority that he doesn’t.

Born in ignorance and decided ignorance is bliss. Hasn’t modern society rubbed off on any of these people? We need a time machine to send them back to the 19th century.

Smith’s base? See map.

“McMansions, Bankers and Businessmen, Pineys (hillbillies, if there were any hills), Farmers and Army Bases.”

Let us all thank Donald Trump for empowering these jerks to come out from under the rocks and say what they really think.

Now that we know who they are, they can’t hide any more.

Chris Smith represents a majority of my hometown of Middletown, NJ. I am so glad that he isn’t my congressman, Frank Pallone Jr. is. Smith has always been an extremist. He is a devout Catholic and his religious views to take shape his policy positions. He doesn’t even live in his district, he has a full-time residence in Virginia. And hasn’t held a town hall meeting with constituents in over 20 years. He is truly out of touch!

New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District can do much better by electing someone else.

And you exclude Jim (Hey, Look At My Pectorals!) Jordan why?

…No! But they do, we all do, love modern society. Drive up dinners for five bucks, followed by bypass surgery - and back home in three days. Followed by statins to keep our LDL levels low, so we can go back to the drive up for more saturated fats. But some like to mix and match yesterday’s culture with today’s, yearning for the ‘good old days’ when white men ruled - without interference from anyone, from women to the wife, to minorities, gays, poor people, the uneducated, etc. What they refuse to accept is change. They understand it but refuse to accept it. But like you imply, how much longer can they get away with it?

ETA: While tying this post I was also watching a Mad Men marathon. I need saving.

Chris Smith is pretty comprehensively a jerk … he once did something that was not totally asshole-like … just can’t remember what that thing was … it was something notable because it ever so slightly suggested that there was an ounce of reasoning in the man … but then again it might have been swamp gas … or momentary delirium. or some other quirk.

Rand Paul: The Youth are revolting!

Mitch McConnell: Finally something we can agree on.
