Discussion: GOP Rep Made Series Of Misogynistic Comments On Radio Show

One of the reasons that the Democrats love the quote unquote female issue is because they know women vote more liberally than men do,

I think perhaps he has cause and effect reversed here.

I also wonder if Lewis was outspoken in defense of Al Franken when the picture of him mugging in front of the playboy model on that USO tour came out. That was enough to kill Franken’s distinguished political career, but it is a nothing burger when Republicans do something worse.

Yeah I posted that story first thing this morning (which for me means 10 AM hahahahaha) off of Rawstory.

I love seeing it again.

Dallas hates Trump.

There is a revealed truth that today’s GOP seems to attract and/or breed male pigs. Our so-called President being a prime example.

I didn’t mean to be specific to this particular pig. I meant all of them - they are dying breed and the day is over when they can call us sluts and treat us like sluts and get away with it.

Delicious skewering in the article.

That oped may not be very surprising considering he is from Dallas, but it may resonate a little beyond the city after Helsinki. And the sentiment expressed from the other side of the aisle might make Cruz’s life miserable (and help Beto).

O it will. The Dallas paper has pretty good piece of north Central Texas as readers. And since it’s from Dallas and he’s GOP it will likely shock some people who haven’t yet realized that Dallas has been blue since 2006 which means it will get their attention.

So it should have good fallout - Rawstory picked it up this morning.

I don’t quite know why slut is a gender related word anyways, There have been times in my life when I considered myself one. Big fing deal, its nobodys business what anyone else does as long as it doesn’t hurt someone else.

Not worth getting worked up over. Instead I say, “Please proceed Republicans.”

As someone in the Twin Cities metro area - well, duh. Jason Lewis is a misogynistic asshole? Is the sky blue? Does the Pope shit in the woods? Is a bear Catholic?

Now you could say in a very, very sexist, misogynistic way that, ‘well, that’s because women just don’t understand money. They don’t understand, they’re, they don’t handle finances. They’re guided by emotion, not reason.

You could say that, or he just did say it. And he didn’t walk it back afterwards. Conservative talk radio is a societal cancer. Or it’s the tanning bed for the conservative body politic, which is currently tanned a dark orange.

You know, in 20 years, these old white f’ing jackasses — Trump, Turtle, Pence, etc, WILL BE DEAD.

It’s not long, in the greater scheme of things. My goal in life is to dance on their graves. If not, my children will.

He got paid to be provocative. What’s the problem? It’s not like he necessarily believed all the offensive things he said. He was just doing his job. Would you get mad at a garbageman if someone paid him to dump garbage on your lawn? Of course not! He was just earning a buck like everyone else and you probably deserved it anyway.

It’s a well known rule of ethics that anything goes when you’re working for someone else. You can lie your ass off as press secretary and still sleep peacefully knowing that Baby Jesus only cares about personal lies and not the ones you get paid to say.
