…arguing that weed is worse than cigarettes…
Republican, please…

Don’t tell John, but his grandpappy moved to Louisiana for the free comb overs lol
Well ya see he just figures that since massive amounts of Republicans come to New Orleans to drink on Bourbon Street & throw beads at women …well it only stands to reason that people will go places for stuff - sort of like Rush will go to the Dominican Republic for … oh what was that again
Are his statements based in ignorance or dishonesty?
Ok TPM, now it’s your turn. Rep. Fleming has made some statements that are VERY easily checked for accuracy. Get the facts, then ask Rep. Fleming if he can back up his statements. When he does, you now have the facts to challenge him.
Go!
**I’m sure glad that homeless people are going to Colorado for the yummy dope – Those sub zero temperatures in January and February ought to take care of them moochers #IamARepublican **
Homeless people don’t move, they survive anyway they can.
You’d have to be pretty stoned to claim an influx of homeless with no facts to back it up. Or a run-of-the-mill dishonest Republican who will say anything …
It is legal not free dumb ass. Afraid it is socialized and they are gonna suck at theTHC tit?
Of course he left out the most dangerous thing about Marijuana. Contact with American Law Enforcement and Legal System. A stay in American Correctional facility replete with homosexual rape and brutalization, having a criminal conviction, thereby ensuring you will be unemployed or underemployed the rest of your life, and then of course denied any public assistance so your kids will go hungry.
It isn’t just ignorance, these fuckers are pure evil.
This article doesn’t mention it, but at the Huffington Post they mentioned he talked about small government AND keeping up the drug war.
This is what happens when your allowed to in breed.
I only have one question, if a couple in Louisiana get divorced, are they still brother and sister?
another science-free republican.
Yeah, the best solution to the problem of homelessness and hunger would be to just feed the homeless to the hungry. Problem solved!
Can’t seem to shake the mental picture of a wagon train of thousands of homeless people pushing grocery carts full of their belongings westward, sporting corrugated cardboard signs that read “Colorado or Bust.”
Wait… you mean they’re not??? How do you know they’re not?
Well, since 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue is probably a parking lot that homeless guys hang out in, she’s irate because they’re going to Colorado for the free weed. Or something something argle-bargle also too. And freedom.
They aren’t even selling all over the state yet. They just opened a shop 60 miles from me and our town has none. The great migration ain’t all that great.
Although, I do believe I am smelling a few more dead skunks these days than I used to.
When did Mr Fleming become a scientist? What is his training? Or is he, as I suspect …talking out his ass?
Weed is not as dangerous as tobacco for some simple reasons. Cigarette smokers many times have a pack a day habit. I doubt that even Rastafarians smoke 30 joints a day. Burning vegetable matter releases polycyclic hydrocarbons which are the root of the cancer causing qualities of tobacco. Weed smoke contains these as well.
Before I retired I was a scientist and part of the work I was involved in concerned ovarian cancer and the effect of 7, 12-dimenylbenz[a]anthracene (a component of cigarette smoke, it’s one of the polycyclic hydrocarbons) on the ovary.
I know whereof I speak, Mr Fleming does not.
As to if homeless people are moving to Colorado simply to smoke weed…I doubt that strongly. Homeless people don’t usually have enough disposable income for weed or to move for that matter. Mr Fleming may not realize it but weed ain’t cheap these days.
That address would be the Willard Hotel
The new mobile homeless crowd. I imagine they’ll get a bit of a jolt once winter temperatures set in – like in the next few days and jet right back to California.
