Discussion: GOP Rep: 'Hitler Thought It More Important Than Obama To Get To Paris'

Discussion for article #231964

So he should be more like Hitler, but for the right reasons?

Being Socialistic Dictator Kommandant-In-Chef is a thankless job.

It sounds like this was a photo op for the world leaders. They did not join the masses and march.

Why, why do these right wing doofuses keep bringing up Hitler? Its obvious that not one of them has
any knowledge of the subject. All it does is to illustrate their total ignorance.

“…Adolph Hitler thought it more important than Obama to get to Paris…”

To conquer it.

It’s natural for Republicans to admire Adolf Hitler and adore Vladimir Putin. Aggressive authoritarianism is the policy and politics of conservatism.

It takes an enterprising legislator to write his own obituary.

I hate FIFY, but …

Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) on Monday night made an unfavorable comparison between Adolf Hitler and Barack Obama a complete fucking ass of himself.

I don’t understand this whole thing. How many international leaders came here after 9/11 to participate in marches? Or after the Sandy Hook shootings? Or any of our other mass disasters?

And, not for nothing, whatever happened to hating the French? I thought that was a tenet of the right wing?

We have to admit the administration screwed up sending the ambassador to the rally, but a Hitler reference?

I think the White House should have sent Bush and Cheney. Now THAT would have turned out to be interesting…

I wonder what these GOPERS would have said once they were arrested and hauled off to The Hague.

This is the same GOP that had conniption fit because Obama used Djion mustard? The same GOP that renamed french fries " freedom fries"? The same GOP that displayed/bought bumper stickers and t-shirts calling for the United States to invade: “Iraq first, France next!” and “First Iraq, then Chirac”?

If Obama had gone or sent someone higher up they’d bitch and moan about that. So who cares what they say?

saw a reporter from the Daily Beast on the tube and he was saying this is a bigger deal over here than over in Paris.

Damned if you do damned if you don’t,they say as far as the President himself or the Vice President it would have been a logistical knightmare.

Anyone wanna bet this hypocrite was a “Freedom Fry” kinda guy in a recent era?

Not too worry, he’ll calm down once he returns to the comfort of that semi-darkened room in his house filled with Nazi paraphernalia. You understand.

The Hague?
How about the Bastille? …might be even more appropriate.
Do you think if they cut of Cheney’s head, his mechanical pumps would all stop?
