Aurora is not really a “red/purple suburb.” It is only 61% white, and is increasingly non-white (about 44% black and latino).

The district is evenly divided between Democrats, Republicans and independents. The Republican incumbent has been winning by 25+ points. He hasn’t had much trouble with Democrats or Independents so far. I hope he has his mind changed next year.
