@beattycat see? I told ya.
Thatās a whole different problem. And a much more serious one.
āā¦the state Supreme Court ultimately backed the proposal when the legislature leveraged much-needed funding for the judicial branch to get the courtās support.ā
(Doorbell ringsā¦father of 17-year old girl opens the door)
āHi Mr. Smith, Iām here to pick up your daughter and take her to my isolated cabin in the woods for a long weekend.ā
āThe hell you are. Youāre a KKK-tattooed 35 year old, and itās obvious your intentions are dishonorable. Buzz off.ā
āHow about I promise to give you the money for a new Jacuzzi?ā
āReally? Cool! Have a great weekend, you two. Here, take this twenty for some beer.ā
And donāt forget banning all non-Republican parties.
The bill was introduced by Republican state Rep. J.D. Mesnard, who denies that it is politically motivated court packing.
āMore heads are better than fewer heads, especially when it comes to interpreting laws and the (state) constitution,ā he told the Associated Press.
ā¦
Fixed it for ya mr Mesnard. Now talk about that part of our state Constitution that says higher education in Arizona is supposed to be as free as possible and juxtapose that little gem with your cuts to the state universities I have seen every year since 1969. When I cam to the U of A state support of the operations budget stood at 45%. As of 2012 when I retired it stood at under 7% Forty five years of cuts (in 2015 it was $100 million cut for the stateās 3 universities) is a TREND Mr Mesnard. Every year I heard. āBut itās just a little one time cutā. You folks in the AZ Leg. hate public education. Hell, you hate all education.
And thereās so much more that needs fixing in AZ because of your gross extremism.
Thanks TPM for putting this out but thereās a bunch more to report on in AZ.
Day to day at this point you go to bed at night with the thought in your head the GOP canāt get more insane ,wake up the next day and say they did it again.Amazing.
I guess they canāt see too far over the horizon. Given the changing demographics in Arizona, they just handed the Democrats the ability to change the complexion of the court about 10 minutes after they flip control of the state, which I think is inevitable and only a matter of time.
Wellā¦ They do need to find something for McCain to do after he loses this election ā
Fāing s.o.bās!
Douchy is a koc bro ho!
Elections have consequences! Dems, indyās you must vote in EVERY election!
It is humiliating to admit Iām an Arizonanā¦sigh
Hey darr, the special election is on May 17th.
Whatās your take on prop 123?
Thanks beatty,
AZ is the AL of the SWā¦soon to be the MSā¦
Typical Republican establishment BS. If you canāt win honestly, cheat.
I thought that needed repeatingā¦daily, hourly up to and including the next election!
Totally true!
You guys have all heard my story about the 2012 elections!
Well remember, to the fascists in the GOP, we donāt have a democracy ā we have a ārepublicā.
Which is another way of saying we have a Dictatorship of the Entitled.
(but they only call it that when Democrats run the show. Otherwise, itās āWe the Peopleā)
I used to loath re-pukes.
I now HATE THEM! With a passion!
The Republicans prefer to call this country a republic, not a democracy? Well, to paraphrase Mandy Rice-Davies, they would, wouldnāt they? : )
For, by and of the people government. Got to love it.
Example after example of why voting in off year elections and supporting down-ticket races is as, if not more, important than the Presidential election.
The hispanic population in AZ, which tends to vote Democratic, is very large and with proper organization can easily out vote the old/white retirees who keep the GOP in power in that state. There are a lot of liberal enclaves in AZ as well, the stateās not gone, itās just not voting.
