If meth dealers and human traffickers criticized Trump, we wouldn’t suddenly become fans of meth and human sexual slavery. The fact that Singer is an open supporter of gay marriage doesn’t change the fact that he is every bit as odious as the Koch brothers, to whom he has contributed over $1 million.

Seems like a lot of the uber wealthy find Libertarianism appealing. Nice that they took advantage of the current system of democracy to get to where they are, but want to close down any opportunities now that they’re there.

Why would a hedge fund manager contribute to Republican candidates? And why would one worry about global depression of the Republican candidate is elected?
The stock market always tanks when a Republican is elected President. Anyone who owns any stock should already know this. Why anyone would willing give such people money is beyond me.

The financial predators are more concerned than anyone. Some of them think they can control what Trump does, others know that the guy is a wrcking ball and that whatever Clinton does it will not leave the United States like Kazakhstan.

Singer has already contributed more to the cause of economic hardship than Trump–quite an accomplishment. The interests of vulture hedge funds and distressed junk bond traders have been well-represented in courts and legislatures thanks to Singer’s efforts and (legal?) bribery. Fuck yourself, Paul Singer.

Right. Depressed both figuratively and literally. Trump depresses the hell out of Cruz, Rubio and Bush. How depressing would a Trumpexit financial collapse on a scale worse than W’s worldwide banking fraud meltdown be?
His interest in those issues extends only so far as his immediate family: one of his sons is gay.
Now if only one of his family members went deeply into debt, had that debt sold to vulture capitalist for pennies on the dollar, who then began baying for that relation’s blood until their debt had been fully paid regardless of the short and longterm personal cost and the health and well-being of said family member…now that change of heart would be something

Here’s the thing I don’t get: This guy has more skin in the game than I’ll ever have. He says Trump will break the world, which is about the worse thing you can do to a bazillionaire. And yet. And yet, he concludes that maybe he just won’t vote. Isn’t the obvious solution to the worst possible choice ever to vote for the person who isn’t the worst choice?
