Republicans worship Ayn Rand. They are implementing full scale Social Darwinism to cull the herd.
Itâs kindaâ like the scene in To Kill a Mockingbird when the black defendant says he felt sorry for the white trash accuser. The Right canât handle âuppity.â
The Right really needs to be carefulâŚafter all the Serf system was gutted by the Black Death. You canât afford to lose too many workers.
YEEâGAWDS, who are they suing NOW? Whose paying for this ONE? Using our legal system to throw threats at people IS becoming a regular Joe Republicanâs thing to do these days. Back in the G.W. BUSH ERA, the GOP/Republicans were bitching about people suing and wanted TORT reform. Hypos, DO as we say, NOT as we DO. If theyâre NOT SUING Obama, itâs some other poor foolâs day in court.
Itâs a two-fer: not only do they get to waste taxpayer money that could have gone to providing useful services, they often get to deliver that money in a no-bid process to right-wing law firms and think tanks. One more example of wingnut welfare.
Even after the federal funding decreases to only 90%, the state will more than break even based on the taxes it will receive on the 90% funding which largely goes to labor (MDs, RNs, & other healthcare workers). So rabidly partisan are these Republicans that they refuse to help their most vulnerable constituents, even if refusing costs them money, based on no discernible principle other that hate for Obama.
Their objective is to fulfill their sacred ideology, which boils down to the belief that government should only benefit the wealthy. Sure, some wealthy people would benefit from Medicaid expansion, but most of the beneficiaries are, ugh, poor people. Cannot have THAT!
Itâs the Republican Anti-Obamacare Death Panels! As long as they forbid the expansion of Medicaid, they get to choose who lives, and who dies. Itâs the ultimate Republican value!
Hereâs your death panel,Democrats are so messaging impotant
