Let the FRAGGINGS continue!

I think Dem leaders know some rethugs won’t vote for it. What I don’t get is how this could benefit Dems. Rethug voters affected by the bill are gonna blame Dems anyway.

Did Massie vote for the unfunded tax bill that put us in a larger debt hole than before? Probably did.

Although he has a point. Just let Congress hurry up and balance the budget and fund border security and…wait for about fifteen years for the disaster relief bill to come up for a vote again.

These GOP-ers have no brains and no class. Thanks for reminding us of that, Massie!

But they might just sit out the election in disgust. (I said "might). One less vote for a Rethug can only help us down ballot.

He learned it from watching you.

thx.

Passing an unbudgeted $19 billion spending bill without a vote of Congress is legislative malpractice.

Racking up a trillion dollar deficit to give the 1% a huge tax break, that’s different.

"Roy cited the growing deficit and lack of border funding as reasons for his objection.

But throw in some wall money and he won’t give a shit about the deficit anymore.

It was something like 85-8 in the Senate, presume it’ll be similar in the House, well over any veto threshold.

Then good. Freedumb Caucus looking dumber every day.

They just don’t get it. Every time a tax cut fails to pay for itself they just yell, " the cut just wasn’t large enough!"
These morons are too stupid to learn.

For two years the words “growing deficit” have not passed repub’s lips.

But now that congress actually wants to spend money that is sorely needed to help suffering citizens…they have hissy.

Well Massie was in office when the Tax Cut Cut Cut Act was passed, but this is Roy’s first term. So who is going to call Massie onto the carpet. Did he not read the CBO report on the effect of the legislation?

I think this is more because they are in recess right now and only holding pro forma sessions. They can pass it by unanimous vote in pro forma session so that it can be signed quickly (since it’s disaster relief funding). Otherwise, they’re stuck waiting until Congress reconvenes.

My take is that for Dems, if lucky they could pass it before members come back and if not, they can say it’s rethugs’ fault. No harm either way. My guess that they’re trying to expose rethugs is based on the fact that after last week’s failure they’re still gonna try another two times.

Why would you need flood insurance for an Ark, anyway?
