Discussion: GOP Gov Wants Personal Meeting With Obama On Medicaid Expansion

Nikki,Nikki,Nikki if looks could kill,Life.

I’m a little lost here. Indiana is already accepting money for their Medicaid program, right? So, Pence wants different rules for the expansion money? Is that it? Does, ā€œremove or water down the Healthy Indiana Plan’s core principles, essentially changing this proven program into an expansion of traditional Medicaidā€ mean refusing to accept rules Indiana is already accepting?

Wait a minute, Pence. What happened to all that high-flying rhetoric and feigned indignation over Obamacare? I thought you GOP dogs didn’t need any stinking handouts from the Feds? Now you want face time with the President? How about this: bark like a dog and lick his boots. Maybe then he’ll let you in.

As a bonafide Hoosier I can authoritatively tell all TPM readers that Mike Pence would be the worst clown in the GOTP 2016 clown car. His wife insisted that a fence be built around the governor’s mansion so Mike won’t need a leach and still not get loose.

If there were more stories like this we would have a much better country. I applaud Gov. Pence. He’s actually governing. I don’t see his gesture as being a stunt at all. Obviously, there’s a political element to everything in that arena but he should be encouraged. I think the President makes a big mistake if he doesn’t accept Gov. Pence’s invite/request. Go Mike Pence! Expand Medicare!!

That makes one of you liking Pence. Go for it! He’s a winner for sure!!!

What crap. GOTP governor has made a devastatingly bad decision not to accept federal dollars to expand Medicaid in his state and the electorate now knows it. Weaselly liar is trying to save face with his Tea Party rhetoric about how outstanding the Indiana plan that provides only a band-aid is and geez if the President would just let him violate the law, all would be well in Hoosierville. And, of course, the GOOPers won’t scream about the President violating the law if he does allow them to do what he proposes. That would never happen, right?

Well, if he expanded Medicare that would be great, but it’s not what he’s proposing. He’s proposing to weaken Medicaid by making it easy to revoke if those lazy, shiftless blah…I mean poor people miss a payment. Because freedom.

Yes, indeed. The guy is a total loon, as the country will discover.

I can give Pence 15 minutes if he has time to come to my office. I will need several days notice - not weeks like some of these stuck up big shots.

Open Letter to Governor Mike Pence:

Kill my a$$.

Kind regards,

POTUS

Clearly this governor doesn’t know how the country works. He should ask for a ā€œprivateā€ meeting with all Members of Congress - you now, the folks that wrote the law? If he wants the law changed, that task belongs to the Congress.

After Congress drafts and passes a new law, it’s up to the President to sign it into law or veto it and send it back to Congress for a re-write.

Some besides Kasich is vying for the dark horse 2016 card.

Mike Pence- ā€œI want your money Mr. President but I still want to be able to screw the poor. Do we understand each otherā€?

I don’t think Pence gets it. You don’t order the President to see you. Your request will be considered. Considering how you want to take health care away from the poor makes me think he would not be too interested.

He does, however, get to go on-air (and be parrotted by Faux News) as having tired to reach out to the President, with no response from the White House. And the TeaNuts will be none the wiser.

Lucky for him, we aren’t Obama.

Maybe I should have said:
UNlucky for him, we aren’t Obama.

Ungracious bastards aren’t they.
Pence will either cave behind the scenes or he is just being a total dickhead now. He is being disingenuous no doubt, his motivations are the only unknown.

Headline hungry GOPPERBAGGER Pence will go to ANY LENGTHS to get a SELFIE WITH THE PREZ…
