Discussion for article #227900
Her mental stability is âmarginalâ at best -
⌠and now in an effort to put out ideas that she feels will stand up to scrutiny - she resorts to plagiarism?
A southern accent is still prominent in her speech, and she charms
those sheâs talking to with titles like âhoneyâ and âmy dear.â
Trust me, the only people she charms by calling them âhoneyâ and
âdearâ are non-southerners. True southerners know that these terms
are dismissive and are used to indicate that we canât be bothered to
remember your name. âMy dearâ is especially condescending and is
generally used when âexplainingâ something to someone whom the
speaker feels needs to be corrected.
Bless her heart----another thing we Southerners say when we arenât being particularly kind.
And most of those not familiar with southern culture would assume that the phrase âWell, bless her liâl heart.â to be sweet or nice when itâs an insult clothed in satin.
Rats, Thunder, ya beat me by seconds!
My favorite bit so far was her attempt to capitalize on the stalking accusations by telling voters she would be tenacious in Washington.
âŚand the wheels of the Kochs fall off, off, off
Trojan Horseâs Ass.
shes a liar and too stupid to really understand what a loser she really is.
Her real flaw is being a doctor opposed to health care reform, made even worse by living in a state where reform has cut uninsured by > 60%. (Her surgery on children who donât need it is also unacceptable.)
The gay couple in her ads are a couple of libertarians. As to the stalking - in her social/ economic class people donât usually call the cops in those situations. they call lawyers or politicians or other powerful people. For not one but two of her exes to be so concerned (or angered by her extremity) that they called the police says a lot about her. None of it good.
She avoids straight answers and has a condescending attitude (inexpertly masked by that phony âsouthern girlâ demeanor) that sets my teeth on edge.
95% of Oregonians now have insurance out of nearly 4 million people. And thatâs with the horrible web site that still doesnât work.
Why not try and get votes based on the power of your idea, rather than Koch money?
Oh, rightâŚ
Good to see that Jeff Merkley is jumping on the plagiarism charges, especially the ridiculous Wehby staff quote, âDr. Wehby is too busy performing brain surgery on sick children to respond, sorry.â
If she is too busy saving sick children, then she must be too busy to represent Oregonians in the Senate.
She must have plenty of money anyway, her ads run all the time and have for months.
But sheâs convinced Oregon voters will decide they want a change in Congress.
Add delusional to her resume.
Wonder why? She is a pampered darling of the OR, most surgeons are, they perform surgery, yes brain surgery, but donât ask her how anything else works. She wonât know because staff arrange the schedules, post-ops, billing and I bet even âon-callâ calls. The hospital maintains and sets up the surgical room and suite. It is obvious from the plagiarizing charges that she leaves everything up to âstaffâ.
She stands 100% behind the GOP platform, why because someone else did the thinking and writing how easy is that?
Her support and money comes mostly from outside of Oregon sources and guess who that is âthe Koch Brothersâ. She should be portrayed with an OREGON FOR SALE sign in her hand, because why else would outside money want to buy a Senate seat for this woman?
âBut the group, Freedom Partners, has canceled advertising slots reserved
for October and will go dark at the end of the month. Super PACs that
backed Wehby in her primary have stayed on the sidelines.â
That says it all. She is done. The GOP has decided to turn itâs back on her. Another crazy Republican woman? Been there, done that.
She needs help, not a Senate seat. Sheâs a Bunny Boiler
Only THAT isnât true either - she is on a leave of absence from the hospital to campaign. Add âliarâ to her resume.
