Discussion: GOP Congressman, Early Trump Backer Duncan Hunter Indicted

Top to bottom, only the very best.

Right Mtch?

Only the very fucking best (sorry for the French but sometimes you just have to say the words).

Caligula and any other debouched soulless monster from history got nothing on this bunch of travesties and miserable excuses for human beings.

Duncan Hunter indicted, Manafort convicted, Cohen pleads guilty, guilty guilty, Flynn guilty, traitors, liars, thieves, yes, quite the very best.

They aren’t even competent criminals, Trump most of all. Can’t wait to hear what Rudy Rasputin and good ol Smoke Eyes have to say about all this, just can’t wait.

Hunter wins because he changed his name to match his fathers. Otherwise the little twerp would’ve had to work a little bit to win handily. Now, not so much.

Ammar is a bright, engaging, handsome young man who actually believes in government, not self enrichment. Hunter, not so much.

I hate when that happens.

Hunter was one of the first congressman to endorse Trump. You figure someone like him with a military background would have been reluctant to.
If there is a certainty in political life it’s you will always be prosecuted for purloining campaign funds.

I’m thinking about a TPM scorecard of the first two dozen Republicans who endorsed Trump and their current legal standing; or perhaps we could use the military’s ‘pack of cards’ method.

Trump, the last sanctuary of scoundrels.

“inadvertent and unintentional.”

I inadvertently and unintentionally just blew through $250,000.

By the way, have you seen Peter Fluffytail ?

Too bad Duncan has been overshadowed by Cohen and Manafort today. He could have been Duke of the week!

At least he picked the best day to be indicted

His parents should be indicted for naming him “Duncan”.

This may turn into a very interesting week.

How do you ‘inadvertently’ use campaign funds from a separate account that doesn’t belong to you as your own private piggy bank? Weak defense…and really stupid too. Meanwhile tRump has been doing that everyday he’s been in office, so I just hope people begin to see the big picture. Those campaign funds have become humungous slush funds for hush money when needed, cash for personal travel which has nothing to do with politics, legal expenses, you name it. Everything but what its intended…campaigning.

Corruption in the GOP is everywhere. It rots from the head.

Hunter can now start a “Felons for Trump” group with Cohen and Manafort.

It’s only Tuesday and already so many candidates for Duke of the Week. I don’t envy Josh’s panel this week. Perhaps they need to do Duke of the day or half-day?

The best part is that they can’t get the fucker off the ballot. Under CA top two, he is the republican’s little boy…

They really blew it, knew that he was probably guilty, but did not want to challange Daddy, so hoped for the best.

While the district is R+11, but is only 58.6% white, and 30% Hispanic, 5% Asian, 2.3% black. He only got 48.7% of the vote in the primary (while claiming he was innocent) and while another republican running expressly against him as corrupt got 13.3% of the vote, he is facing a Hispanic/Palestinian democratic candidate who has raised lots of $$$$. https://ballotpedia.org/Ammar_Campa-Najjar

My guess is that Hunter’s $$$ will immediately dry up, and this race will eventually be moved into the “leans D” category. D’s should win this district in the end.

p.s. and Hunter was already lagging in fundraising before the indictment: http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/371788-gop-rep-hunter-posts-meager-campaign-fundraising-amid-controversy

This district is not someplace where they inbreed, and is heavily military. The argument that he is being framed will not go far here.

I think I’m sensing a pattern here.

So maybe anyone in politics who backed Trump may be a person of interest in a crime?

Every Congressional Republican who supports Trump either has ties to Russia, has committed tax fraud or is moneylaundering. It’s getting much easier to understand why none of them can afford to put the spotlight on themselves with an impeachment.
