I suppose that writing off half the population of the country is a good idea if half there is a half that doesn’t vote. Picking women out for special counselling on how they should be living and voting probably not a good idea.

To quote that great philosopher … “good grief!” I have a neice who is a single mother twice over, and she works her butt off more hours a week to give her kids a good life. It’s her dead-beat ex who is on government support. So he can go ahead and claim that he actually does know how to read (as he claims) but I doubt it.

Interesting. Here in Wisconsin, Scott Walker is now arguing that the state minimum wage of $7.25/hour actually qualifies as a living wage, because people working full time at minimum wage jobs can receive government benefits to subsidize their income.
