Discussion: GOP Appears To Hold Onto Virginia House Of Delegates After Random Drawing For Tied Race

Republican commission member files late challenge to spoiled ballot, Republican judges award spoiled vote to Republican, Republican judges deny request for stay, and Republican Board of Elections Chairman certifies drawing in Republican’s favor.

Sounds legit.

The court decision was utterly indefensible and they knew it. They would not let the ballot be published until facsimiles started circulating.

At some point, some folk are going to start listening to all the treasonous crap the NRA keep spewing and start impeaching corrupt pols like the judges with an AK-47.

Yeah cause we all know they wouldn’t do anything wrong or anything.

There will be a recount. I bet there are ballots out there that was close that can be identified for Symonds based on the ballot that was overturned for Yancy.

Unfortunately for Democrats, the formula (I know, I know FAR too generous a term) seems to be working for them.

Yes, and proudly so. He has to live in VA, and as a KYian, I feel his pain, rage, and frustration.

I understand, but your comment is fodder for trolls and godschoserones to spread, “proof” of us hating / goddless / on our way to hell “libtards”. Stand for Democracy. Don’t feed hate.

What was the judgement of that hanging chad down in Florida back when Gore was robbed? Was it counted, or not? That sets the precedent for botched paper ballots.

Pain rage and frustration.

That is just exactly right. Motherfuckers! I hope they make his life utterly miserable in the Va state house.

I fucking hate these motherfuckers - we are going to get rid of them no matter how we have to do it. I don’t care how we do it - we’re doing it

The Virginia State Board of Elections held a random drawing of two names from a bowl, and its head pulled Republican David Yancey’s name.

Two names in a bowl is not random. Try 50 slips per name.

Actually, six people like it.
Because we’re smart.
And because @beattycat is 100% correct.

Next question?

I lived in Mid and SW VA too, worked for OFA, and understand and felt firsthand the sickness of godschosen “christians”. It feeds on hate, believes in the devil, and can’t wait to see the earth cleansed. They’re still fighting the English Civil War, trying witches and Harry Potter, and KNOW in their hearts that your pain (our pain) is deserved and god-given.

“This election will certainly be a reminder for everybody that every vote counts,” Virginia state Board of Elections Chairman James Alcorn said before drawing the name.

And by doing so, negated half of the votes cast in the race.
