OK but Trump started claiming pretty much the second day they were opening new plants, and it went up and up—I think I’ve heard he’s claimed eight new car plants were being built, already open, whatever. So there’s going to be a kind of rip tide between his fantasies and this reality. Should be interesting. If you don’t want to miss it, follow Daniel Dale, he’s the foremost chronicler of Trump’s b.s.

My old company did a small layoff two weeks before Christmas last year. A good friend with 40 years in was marched out of his office. He was actually supposed to get his award and presentation for hitting 40 a few days later. There was a lot of wrong in what they did. He passed a month later from a stroke from the financial and medical stress the job loss presented. A month after that, his wife also experienced a stroke.
But I am sure the powers that be put if off as just doing business.

How do you think they’ll be raising the steam? Coal fired boilers, of course. And tRump will have to let in lots of Steve King’s cantaloupe calved illegal immigrants cause they’ll be the only ones strong enough to shovel coal into the fireboxes right through lift-off!
Do you think anybody at Rick Perry’s Department of Energy will think to mention the need for extra oxygen as they approach orbit, or will the Space Force just equip their vehicles with really big louver vents?
