That’s my sentiment too…exactly. He made most of his millions as a showman going after Obama, chalkboard hysteria and all. That paid well, really well. Now that his venture into new media has crapped out, he’s looking to flip the script and go with whatever is in the zeitgeist that will reel him in the next big paycheck. That’s what a astute grifter does. As far as I’m concerned, a leopard doesn’t change its spots.

@beattycat Clinton has said she wants women in her administration and also wants diversity. Mayor Lee is Chinese and very capable, but if he leaves, someone a little more to the left would be elected, IMO, and that’s okay with me.

[/quote]Thanks – I knew it was something like that. For the life of me, I can’t see him as any hotshot housing person. Maybe SF gives off a good vibe to new administrations with regards to mayors and housing. Art Agnos was at HUD for quite a while.

I wonder if Beck is doing a “born again” thing here? It works great on the right, to say you heard the voice of god and were now reformed. Maybe Beck actually believes some of his BS and thinks that liberals consider the Obamas their god, so he’s trying what he’d imagine is the liberal version of being born again. That is, being redeemed by the voice of Obama?
