So we have:

- Trump took advantage of it

A friend was canvassing in Nevada this past weekend. A older, white man answered the door. He said he wasn’t angry, didn’t feel screwed by the system, had no obvious racial animosities, and wasn’t particularly religious, When these hallmarks of a Trump supporter were swept aside, the nub of the problem became clear. He simply did not feel a woman was capable of running this country and said so. At heart, this is what the real issue is with Hillary and those who choose Trump, no matter what.

That older white man should have been presented with the example of Margaret Thatcher who was a conservative PM in Britain and known as “The Iron Lady”. She was PM during the Falklands War with Argentina and during Reagan’s time in office. Also currently there is Angela Merkle in Germany. In the past Indira Gandhi was PM of India, Golda Meir was PM in Israel so it isn’t like a female is new and unheard of in leadership positions.
