Giuliani Walks Back Earlier Comments, Denies Un-Reported Meeting On ‘Dirt’

That’s what happens when you lie, Rudy. It’s hard to keep all the lies straight.

Helps if you’re not senile and drunk, too.

Drinking heavily, probably.

“When I thought that it was going to be published,” Giuliani said, “I wanted to get out in front of it.”

Someone should tell him that Trump’s full confession is about to be published.

When I was in the Army they used to say “he fucked it up by the numbers then by the ABC’s”. If you can’t get the concept just check out Rudy. The fun in this is Trump et al must be furious with the dotard but they’re stuck with him. If they can him they destroy him.

What the what??? Ok. I know some folks find him amusing… but this joke’s not funny anymore. How much longer are we going to have to keep gnawing on these tough and totally tasteless word salads??

There’s that, but if you go by that picture, Rudy is having a stroke!

That explains a lot.

Poor Rudy had a salad:

I kind of love that the president seems to think Mr. Giuliani is out there really kickin’ ass. The longer he thinks so, the sooner the whole facade falls and we see the toddler behind the curtain.

The two witnesses, he told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota Monday morning, are the President and his son.

Oh well I’m convinced then. Case closed.

So is the re-prebuttal, or the pro-pre-rebuttal prebuttal?

FOX News: “Mr. Giuliani, why did you put that steam roller in drive and then let it run over you?”

Crazy Rudy: “I wanted to get out in front of it!”

Rudy is as far gone as the Shitgibbon at this point. Senile Dementia is a real thing, and should not be dismissed as an explanation for all of this, BUT Trump has been a serial bullshitter for as long as he has been able to speak. He can’t stand the reality that he was born no talent for anything but bluster, so he makes up a new world, every day, out of whole cloth, with himself as a superhero.

The Constitution makes a minimum age requirement for office for the Presidency of 35. Most Fortune 500 companies have a mandatory retirement age for their key executives of 65. After this whole sorry affair, I would in favor of a Constitutional Amendment making those 66 or older ineligible to run for ANY office in the Federal Government to prevent the mental illness that is making a mockery of our White House from ever occurring again. It is just common sense and would solve so many problems. Likewise with “lifetime judicial appt.s” Redefine “lifetime” as expiring at some reasonable age (70 ??) in the same Amendment.

Really good untangling of Rudy’s attempts at containing Cohen.

The one thing I would add is that in the first interview, at least in Rudy’s mind, that second pre-meeting (the one without Trump) definitely happened. He continually refers to it as a “real” meeting, and simply denies it was about dirt — going so far as to say the people they interviewed denied it was [about dirt], and says the others never said that [it was about dirt] “about that meeting.” It was only in the second interview that he introduced “allegedly” and changed the results of the interviews to be denial that the meeting took place. So Sekulow called him, called Fox, and orders them to go back to “no meeting” rather than “unrelated meeting” — they will save the latter for next month.
