In other words, mission accomplished. He saved his ass from the prison he so richly deserves. How he hasnât been crucified for all the inside info fed to him (instigated by him) during the campaign I will never understand.
The best quip about Rubes on these boards went something like this: âRudy is such a great lawyer, he could get a jaywalking citation reduced to capital murder.â

But here is what is puzzlingâŚEmmett Flood is apparently also vacating his position on the Trump legal team. So it gives a strong indication that they are decamping. One would assume that the reason for that is, they no longer believe Trump is in any legal jeopardy and/or impeachment jeopardy.
Its even odder, because the subpoena fights are just getting underway, and so far, the early victories are going for the Dems.
And his Proctologist.

OT- I finished watching When They See Us last night. I donât believe that either DA Robert Morgenthau or Trial ADA Elizabeth Lederer deserve the benign treatment they got in the Series. Shit, in criminal conspiracies, you are considered involved unless you did something to affirmatively stop the conspiracy. All of the Detectives and ADAâs involved in this were complicit. Even the one portrayed at the end who got to do the Vacatur of the Convictions. She was involved early on and realized what Fairstein and the Detectives were doing was wrong and was not pursuing the actual rapist whose semen and DNA evidence was found. And the interrogation method is called The Reid Method, the one that has resulted in a rash of false confessions over decades now. The Reid consultants have made millions of dollars from tax payers training Police Department to use coercive interrogation methods.
Given Rudyâs skill at his duties so far, I imagine the start of an impeachment inquiry will also be part of the âclean upâ, but Iâm just spitballing here.
