It is mindboggling the type of drek the media passes along as newsworthy. Seriously! All the sensational distractions are fogging up the real stories. Get a grip, media, they need to take a pass on ghonani, TPM included (though TPM does a great job on presenting and helping us inderstand the stories and issues at hand).

“Doesn’t mean that anybody should rely on it,” Giuliani added later in his answer, noting other presidents who he said had issued pardons “in these political investigations.”
Though no one should be surprised by who he considers to be worthy, but this is the part where Giuliani should have been asked to give up names.

So I know we have a republic supreme court and chief justice, but I think there’s a good argument to be made that “except in cases of impeachment” includes witnesses and co-conspirators.
I doubt whether the people who pleaded guilty or have been indicted take comfort from Rudy’s gobble-de-gook. You’re not excluded, you could be pardoned, but maybe not. I’m telling Trump don’t do it. What is the newsworthy message? Maybe?
