So Rudyâs admitting his clientâs a liar?
Did he get his law degree from a Cracker Jack box!?!?!?
âTrump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Thursday that he believed President Donald Trump would perjure himself in a sit-down interview with special counsel Robert Mueller, and said that was the reason he was against such an interview.â
Shorter Headline: âLawyer Concedes Clientâs Guilt.â
The Hook !
Jesus. Even in Hannityâs audience there must be people who think this doesnât sound quite right.
I dig the implied passivity. Like perjury is a big paintbrush some mean, nasty prosecutor might pull out of his toolkit and wipe all over you, and thereâs just nothing you can do about it.
(Yes, there is a fractional element of truth to this, because people are imperfect and you can get nearly anybody to contradict themselves if you, the investigator, has arbitrary time and youâre operating in bad faith. But on the other hand, lol Donald Trump even comprehending the idea of what objective truth is.)
Sort of what my take was on that.
Mueller, Giuliani told Fox Newsâ Sean Hannity, âknows the answers to every question that he wants to ask.â âHeâs going to ask him, âDid you tell Comey to go easy on Flynn?â The President is going to say âNo I didnât.ââ
Ok Mueller, I think Giuliani is doing the interview in place of Trump. How does that work?
I donât see how it can be interpreted any other way.
Rudyâs repetitive use of Viagra has apparently gone to the wrong âhead.â
Maybe Dotard could get a more competent public defender?
Like someone in high school contemplating maybe someday becoming a lawyer?
Oh, heâs done that before. And then he lies about it.
I always have this distinct idea that Rudy is talking about baseball and explaining how the team will approach the coming season. At the same time he is trash talking the opposition. I am waiting for the typical âWe are in a building yearâŚâ
In this case, Trump is caught between self-incrimination and perjury. He has no other options. Itâs been a months-long, drawn-out checkmate on this chess board.
The former New York City mayor continued: âHey, Bob, you know it. Why do you want to get him under oath? You think weâre fools? You want to get him under oath because you want to trap him into perjury. Weâre not going to let you do that.â
Or, the President of the United States couldâŚyou knowâŚjust tell the truth.
Ummm, IANAL but it seems to me that if your clientâs choices are committing perjury or implicating himself in a crime then maybe the prosecutor actually does have a case.
Donald would have had a better chance of fighting to a draw if he hadnât eaten the pieces.
This is Baghdad Rudy communicating to trump why he shouldnât do an interview with Mueller. Trump wonât listen to rudyâs advice unless itâs routed through fox ânewsâ.
Iâm not sure he knows how to do that. Seriously.
You want the truth? The president canât handle the truth!
