But this explanation makes even less sense than his initial stupidity. “Abbreviated language”?! So you made a unequivocal, demonstrably false statement because you didn’t want your speech to run long?! Who are you fooling?! It would have been just as quick to say “we’ve seen an increase in frequency of Islamic terror attacks under Obama.” Now, we could argue frequency vs. severity, what constitutes a terror attack and how many there actually were under each administration, but at least you wouldn’t come off like a complete douchebag.
