Yeah, Iāve been saying that for a while. What is it about Republicans that make it impossible for them to understand that we live in a world of instantaneous communication where, even if you are in the middle of the jungles of Thailand, if someone near you has a laptop with a satellite uplink, anything you say and do can be disseminated around the globe in about 5 minutes? (The Todd Akin ālegitimate rapeā TV interview fiasco was a great example.) They still think itās 1937, where it might have taken weeks for a story to penetrate the media and trickle down to the populace.

Listening to Giulianiās word salad, which the media seems to think is some kind of human speech, I couldnāt help but think of this exchange between Harvey Korman and Slim Pickens in Mel Brookās āBlazing Saddlesā. Taggart (Pickens) sounds exactly like a Republican toady that would work for Rudy.
