Newt Gingrich said Tuesday that President-elect Donald Trump’s biggest mistake TO DATE since the election was his claiming without any evidence that millions of votes were illegally cast on Election Day.
FIFY
But it’s still early in his Reich.
Reruns already?
Just wait, folks.
It wasn’t a mistake. Trump really believes that ANYONE who didn’t vote for him is “illegal” and he will now proceed to make us so.
Gingrich also recounted to Page that Trump told him last week, apparently without a hint of irony: “This is really a bigger job than I thought.”
Welcome back to regular reality Newt.
Take a load off.
You gotta wonder when Gingrich seems like the smartest adult in the room!
Get Pence on the record for all of this. Once the impeachment proceedings begin (they’ll have to), we need to ensure that Pence goes as well. Even if not possible to dispose of both simultaneously, we need to tie the nation’s biggest ever clusterfuck to those responsible, Republicans.
Then, we may have a chance to control the Senate in 2018 and bring our country to a place where we can begin to fix the damage (again). Maybe this time we’ll prosecute so that the people know who’s responsible. It will be worth the disruption. Don’t be weak Democrats and liberals.
There is a reason that the POTUS’s hair always turns grey after a few years. Hell, even W’s hair got frosty. And Trump figured the presidency was gonna be easier than running Trump Airlines. What an idiot.
Adios, Newt. There’s no room for truth in Big Orange Country.
Newt helped promote President Pepe so it’s really hard for me to take him seriously.
And it’s still almost two months til Pepe takes the throne, so I doubt this is his “biggest” mistake.
Unfortunately - for all of us.
Orange Hitler tweets out news of the Fourth Reich. Yay Americish!
I think it’s a little premature to declare that Trump’s false voting claim was his “biggest mistake” as president-elect.
He still has another 51 days remaining in that role. There are going to be a lot of opportunities to top this one.
Gingrich also recounted to Page that Trump told him last week, apparently without a hint of irony: “This is really a bigger job than I thought.”
Gingrich said he saw that as a “good” reaction from Trump, because he said as president “you have war and peace, you have enormous powers … and it all comes down to the Oval Office and it all comes down to you.”
Awwwwwwwww… I feel ever so much better knowing that Naughtie Newtie has shared this bit of wisdom with Pepe.
Serial philanderer Newt says what to undermine his own selfish career interests???
And ignores, all, the other mistakes since the election.
So, you would want a President Paul Ryan? (Speaker of the House is 2nd in line for the Presidency.)
Gingrich said he saw that as a “good” reaction from Trump, because he said as president “you have war and peace, you have enormous powers … and it all comes down to the Oval Office and it all comes down to you.”
Chiselin’ Trump immediately responded by shitting his pants. Gingrich thought that that was also a good reaction.
it’s the far less likely scenario that both could go at once. Tie the responsibility to all Republicans, that would be the primary goal.
“The president of the United States can’t randomly tweet without having somebody check it out,” Gingrich… told USA Today’s Susan Page.
Gingrich then explained, “So, that’s why Mr. Trump had Alex Jones thoroughly vet the veracity of his tweeted claims.”
