Why is the media reporting on âearly voting in Pennsylvaniaâ as though it is a real thing? PA does NOT have early voting! We have requests for absentee ballots which must include a valid reason for why the voter cannot go to the polls, on election day only, to vote in person and there is a finite list of acceptable reasons.
@mattinpa, @geofu54, @phillydave - I feel like Iâm really current with PA voting procedures - am I missing something re: this ongoing reporting about âearly votingâ in PA?

Youâre right. I looked around and New York Magazine had a piece about âearly votingâ where the term was used as a catchall for any voting done early, including absentee. In Pennsylvania you need a stated reason to vote by absentee ballot. Otherwise you vote on Election Day. So itâs just confusion being created by using the same phrase for two different things.

Heâs a laughable narcissist himself, and a total flake. He got into politics after being denied tenure at this no-name state college. He used to talk a lot about saving Western Civilization but I guess thatâs more like a weekend hobby now.
ETA Just watched the tape. I wonât speak to her integrity but sheâs no fool and sheâs got a lot of poise. Heâs pulled that kind of bullying reality-denial crap on debate stages and gotten away with it. Here she just shut him down and itâs good to see.

Congress needs to pass an amendment to the Voting Rights Act requiring male Americans of voting age to register annually their guns & penises before theyâre entitled to even apply to register to vote, requiring white male voting registrants to pass a civics test focusing on equality of rights & protections under the law, & requiring all male registered voters to sign a pledge not to grab women by their whatever before they get any ballot & work on their freaking anger issues before they say anything in public.

You are right 120%. No early voting, no mail-in (let alone online twitter!) voting, only pretty restrictive absentee ballot available. I actually sent an inquiry tweet to one media outlet re exactly what they meant by that, but no response.
With all the confusing media info and the GOP sideâs attempt to mislead, when doing training we emphasize even more that our canvassers make sure voters understand how it works. So far, there seems to be no confusion, but this is frustrating.

I wonder if Newt knows he trying to juke a pro. Ms. Kelly knows every trick in the GOP spin book and certainly on to Newtâs conflating an objection to sexism for fascination with sex. But Ms. Kelly is GOP true. Newt was wide open due to his âfascination with sexâ during the Clinton years and she let it go by.
There has to be someone in charge. A top dog. Trumpâs decentralized campaign is killing the GOP. Without a top dog thereâs no one to tell the whole damn show to stop associating the GOP with sexism and hate. Newt does it over here and Scravino does it over there. Trumps not in charge. This shit is destroying his candidacy and he has no way to stop it.
