Discussion: Gingrich Floats Creating 'Test' To See If Airport Workers 'Believe In Sharia'

I hear Newt’s working on a Cylon detector as well. Or as my BSG friends say, all of this has happened before and will happen again.

Holy New York Post, Batman, this must be the slowest news Friday since the Calaveras County Frog Jump made the headlines.

The “solutions” part is not what the TeaParty-Republican-scourge-of-humanity is pushing for here., What this is about is getting Trump-type people to continue the rage, the fear, the hate, the racism and the xenophobia. These people are voting pure GOP id and it doesn’t have a damn bit of relationship with policy.

In 1976, if any member of either ticket in the Presidential election had said something as irresponsible as what Donald Trump said when he (without evidence, thought or regard for consequences) stated that the downed Egyptian airliner’s disappearance was an act of terrorism…

  • He would have been disqualified by his own political party
  • He would have been banished from politics
  • He would have been excoriated by all three networks, ABC, NBC, CBS

The Millennials who are going to have to vote against their Trump-loving elders are the most misinformed (by the MSM), unprepared (by their parents) and unjustly positioned** unfortunates in the history of American politics. They are truly tragic.

** By positioning, I mean that, unlike previous generations, the generation before them is willing to destroy the country, by now supporting a madman in Donald Trump. These elders are twice as likely to vote as the unfortunate Millennials (who still think of Trump as a reality teevee star)

which part of ‘no religious test’ do you suppose he doesn’t understand?

They are also trying to act like they have all the answers. As if the answer is right there, but no one will do it because of PC reasons. Gingrich is saying that if we just gave a simple quiz, the problem would go away. And a lot of people would agree with him and view him as a serious policy guy. In reality, his idea is idiotic and will do nothing to stop the problem they are professing to try and solve.

Please. Don’t dignify this idiocy by pretending, even for a moment, that it might be serious.

Question: Does Newt believe in the sanctity of marriage? Answer: Yes, threefold, so he REALLY believes in it!

Trump has proven dismissive of outside counsel. I have no doubt if elected President he would at minimum float trial balloons testing the reaction to similary outlandish policy proposals.

Newt or Fox News host Sandra Smith?

I’d like Newt to explain the difference between someone dying from a terrorist act and someone dying from lack of access to affordable healthcare.

Dying for lack of affordable healthcare is their own doing, since they were too busy listening to rap music to notice the deadline for signing up for ACA benefits was about to pass.

Leave it to Gingrich to feed the ignorant a meaningless term meant to connote erudition about something so supposedly bad even a white supremacist could repeat the word without fear of being laughed at.

(They would have to practice saying it a bit.)

That said, I do like the idea of asking passengers how they feel about violating marriage vows, and banning those non-christians from our pure nation.

Although it saddens me to admit that, like Gingrich, I too favor big government.

I knew it had to be the FOX network. Newt is so irrelevant who else would have him on? He will be begging for air time when he’s in a nursing home.

I am curious about how Gingrich, Trump, and the conservative movement plans to bring about world peace by pissing off 1.5 billion peaceful people.

Well then, it’s settled. Newt’s a witch.

That’s a fantastic idea, Newt! A test! Totally fool-proof!

Question 1 of 1 (1=completely agree; 5=completely disagree): I regularly fantasize and draw pictures of dying Americans and the death of America because I am a practitioner of Islam and I believe that Sharia Law should be imposed on America and I think that blowing up passenger jets is a viable way to achieve this much desired result. Death to America times a billion.*

Circle only one: 1 2 3 4 5

*Any answer other than “5” will be subject to heavy scrutiny by a TSA hiring manager and may result in dismissal of applicant’s bid for employment within the TSA.

Remember when the U.S. didn’t round up all the Muslims and lock them up in camps like Michelle Malkin wanted? Remember how terrorist attacks proceeded to wipe out America, just like she warned us? When are we ever gonna learn to listen to these people???
