I posted this earlier on the Klobuchar announcement, but 538 has an interesting article on the some of the early contenders and their possible path to the Dem nomination.
Nate Silver has Gillibrand looking like this. He figures you need at least three of the five pillars he feels make up the Democratic electorate. Basically none in the bag, none out of reach.
