It would have been okay to call out the action of people leaving early as being inconsiderate.

It would have been okay to put down the box of donuts and exercise a few days a week.

It would have been okay to back hand your son for his Facebook post.

But it all would have been too much work for Mizz Nancy.

Look lady, you may not think you’re a racist, but specifically calling out just the black people for leaving? Totally racist. You could have just said “Look folks, I made a mistake, we’re not finished yet. Would you please return to your seats and we can wrap up?”

Instead you chose to say “Y’all are being rude, look at all the black people who are leaving!” If you don’t get why that’s racist, well I don’t think you’re qualified to run a school.

If you have to specifically point out the race of the people leaving, that tells me you are not looking at situation through a lens of “oh no, there are people leaving”, you’re looking at the color of their skin in an effort to paint the group and the action you don’t like in a negative light. She played the race card.

I don’t know if she is a racist. She was obviously upset. How she handled her frustration is very telling and I would not at all be surprised if she’s had outbursts like this before. And with the hole that she’s digging for herself, I don’t think she’ll be in the principal’s seat very long.

I love it. The stupid white principal wrongly ends a graduation ceremony, cutting out the valedictorian’s speech, but calls out “all the black people.” She’s stupid AND a principal, yet somehow that’s lost in the discussion. My list of white privilege examples is now at 2,454.

Don’t align her with a black neurosurgeon. Dr. Carson bends over backward to appeal to white conservatives; he may be a self-hating black man, but he’s no dummy. Place her squarely where she belongs, among racist whites who are intellectually impaired yet tend to rise to the top of their professions nonetheless.

This lady is a high school principal!! Her racist babblings are extremely concerning, but the nonsense she spews as she attempts to explain her behavior are equally worrysome.

Is our children’s learning?? I would doubt it at this school.
