Discussion: Georgia Officials Quietly Patched Security Holes They Said Didn’t Exist

Thanks to the systems and protocols established by Secretary of State Brian Kemp, no personal information was breached.

BS. If Kemp was doing his job in the first place the vulnerability wouldn’t even exist. He failed to safeguard the registration information properly, that should be the focus of the investigation and based on Kemp’s history of voter suppression, this lack of security could just as easily be on purpose as it could a mistake, but either way it was another example of Kemp’s inability to do his job properly. If he can’t do the job of Sec. of State, he certainly can’t do it as Governor.

He may think of it in those terms, but the more accurate question in his mind is “Do I think it is good for me?” Because he does all sorts of bone-headed things because he thinks they are good for him, even though in reality they are stupid.

David Dennison. Or was it John Miller?

I thought Dennison was the guy who knocked up a Playboy bunny. But I get them confused.

Yup. You’re thinking in more sophisticated ways then me. I don’t think he has any awareness outside of hmself and considers himself the ultimate arbiter of the value of anything, He repeats his lies and believes them because he’s a sucker for his own voice but if necessary he doesn’t care if he’s inconsistent or consistent because that’s for small time grifters or at least ordinary mortals… And the awful thing is his base laps it up.

Yeah, you are right that we do not have to speculate and pile on to reasonably prove they are Evil; there are a multitude of facts that prove the point. But if they blatantly and ridiculously lie about a matter of such import, immediately turn their bullshit around on them with an accusation that hits harder and that has a credible basis, that being the Republican’s collusion with Russia to undermine and corrupt our democracy for the sole purpose of seizing power.

He was also the guy who signed an NDA with Stormy Daniels. Mikey Cohen used the same alias both times. but apparently “David Dennison” was two different independent clients (Elliot Broidy and Individual-1).

Well, that’s the official story anyway. I was just playing off the fact that the same alias was used in both cases.

Yeah it’s a pretty suspicious coincidence isn’t it? Also Broidy has previously paid off the mistress of a public official.

I’m sure that is just a funny coincidence

And tomorrow they will be. Beware of what you wish for Ryan Mahoney, you just might get it - good and hard.

“This was a 4th-quarter, Hail Mary pass that was intercepted in the end zone."

I know this is the least of their misdeeds but what a crappy metaphor. Intercepting a Hail Mary offers no strategic benefit, but does introduce additional risk. KNOCK IT DOWN!

Idiots.

Broce said the ability to see where files were stored was “common” across many websites, and she said it was not an inherent vulnerability."

Short answer: Bullshit.

Longer answer: BUUUUUUUUUUUULLSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

Mildly technical answer: it’s not unusual…if your IT staff are morons, or you told them set it up that way.

So, Kemp has generally sucked as Secretary of State you say? Picture my surprise.

This race is so fishy I will never in a million years believe the results reported by the SOS’ office. There is some crooked ass shit going down right out in the open, and the fact that there doesn’t seem to be any real recourse besides taking complex cases to the courts via the ACLU seems unbelievable to me. States’ rights? No, states’ wrongs - huge, glaring, openly crooked wrongs on a massive scale. Can we just start with the fact that someone can be in charge of an election they are running in? WTFFF?

Just imagine how badly Stacy Abrams would be stomping this prick if he WASN’T cheating!

“We make changes to our website all the time,” Broce said.

Especially after we have been caught with our pants down. Again.

Kemp must be held accountable.

Penalties for [dereliction of duty] can include forfeiture of all your pay and allowances, confinement for up to 2 years and discharge for bad conduct.
(Uniform Code of Military Justice)

The maximum penalty. Isn’t that what Donald said?

Interesting trivia: This scene was filmed in Jackson Park, Chicago - not far from where the Obama Library is to be built.
